Somebody, come get ya boy. I thought Broughton was in Morganton not Taylorsville.
They must be be making some good shine in the backwoods of Taylorsville
This guy has lost his mind. Keep in mind Watauga only has 2 seniors and 1 starter for last year, so youre basically playing a jv team. And AC still only beats them by a TD this week. The cougars are OK, but they dont play any real talent.
That’s exactly why you have to be careful judging teams before they face real competition.
If Watauga is basically a JV team because of inexperience, then what does it say if AC only wins by a touchdown? And saying the Cougars don’t play real talent is easy until they line up against somebody who can prove it.
Someone has made a fake account stirring the pot. I know there's a lot of crazy fans in Tville, but nobody in there right mind thinks Ac is a legit contender in 6a this year ( besides the radio guy on b86). I’m a Ac guy and as far as I know the only one on here. They only have 28 varsity players with several sophomores starting. They definitely improved from years past and the coach has changed some things in his 2nd year coaching that has helped. But they haven’t improved so much that they are title contenders . A lot of teams on the schedule are having down years. I still think they lose to Watauga, who has the best coach in the conference and one of the best in the state. Still think they lose to Freedom also. I think if they played Watauga’s schedule they would have the same record and vise versa. Maybe I’m wrong and “WEAREAC” guy whoever he is right but I highly doubt it. I’m glad they are having a good year though. I’ve coached a lot of these kids in rec ball. It’s a shame a lot of them quit or transferred out but I don’t blame them after the last few years. They don’t have but 6 seniors so they should have a decent year again next year.
