And you definitely should not believe anything from that Rudis Rowley account! They give clues that they shouldn't be taken seriously, but then post more seriously. Even tho this post you've shared has a clearly-AI edited pic of Cael & Davis like Dubya receiving news about 9/11.
Plus, you're prob also about to catch some heat from the mess board cops for not finding the post(s) where this is already being discussed. Might be in the form of this post just disappearing or being moved....
Terrible fake picture and disgusting caption... A curt suspension comment is less critical. It maybe true, but not how Cael will announce it.

I mean... I'm not gonna be the karen who CALLS the cops; I was only being snarky with a guess about what the cops might do...Appears to me @ElDuce is in the camp of those wanting the PBP in a separate thread.
I think it would be worthwhile to point out that, to the best of my knowledge, no announcement has been made yet that Davis has been charged with anything. If someone knows otherwise, please feel free to correct me.
Cael is NOT going to cancel a winning wrestler on the basis of media reports and speculation. If Davis is arrested and charged with something, then Cael might decide to act.

There's plenty of things somebody could do to get kicked off the team without getting arrested, especially if you already have a few strikes.
I definitely agree, but what did Davis really do? All we saw was a photo that looks like him and a news report saying the police were looking for the guys in the photo who were thought to be connected to an assault incident.
Seems to me that if it was really Davis in the photo, the police would have caught up with him pretty quickly. If they did, nothing seems to have come out of it. Maybe it turned out that Davis was actually defending himself. Is a coach going to cut someone for that? I don’t know what really happened and it seems that neither does anyone else who has been posting about it. It’s a big stretch to say that Davis is going to be cut because of a photo taken in the middle of the night.
Yes, there's many reasons why he could get booted for defending himself in a bar fight. You think the coaching staff is happy he's even out and/or in a bar at that hour? Was he drinking? That's probably a no-no, given his prior issues. Everybody in the know is saying this is a big F'n problem for Davis.
Well no sense for you and I to bicker about it. We’ll see how it plays out soon enough. The season is only a few weeks away.
I just found the picture. Certainly looks like Davis. The other 2 guys could be wrestlers also . Not sure of the incident storyline.

While this is true in general, Davis' latest incident was 3.5 weeks ago and he's still on the team.
This tells me he's likely to stay on the team unless something changes. That something might be formal charges, or maybe some new evidence, or maybe he takes some extra-strength knucklehead pills again.
Short of that, Cael could've booted him by now but hasn't.
Perhaps Cael booted him so hard..........he hasn't landed yet.
Then there is also the possibility that the police were looking for the three guys as witnesses to something they were not involved in.

Far more importantly.......Cael is not in the photo! Rumor has it.......Scooter has taken him out.
Whatever happened likely will go down as a he said, he said with both sides pointing fingers at the other as the instigator, and conflicting witness testimony.
Plus, it happened off campus - something quite significant. 2:00 a.m. won't give Cael any warm and fuzzies, but I am in the camp that despite Scooter's earlier transgressions, this is a bit of a nothing burger.

My thoughts exactly. It wasn't like he shot a teammate in a dorm gag gone wrong.
Not sure if you guys remember him but alb409 is a wrestling super source and has delivered extremely accurate (and most times good) news several times.
He basically more or less said Davis is gone, regardless of the final decision with the criminal investigation (which will take time), it appears Cael has heard/seen enough to make the decision.
Brantt and dicemen99 both are obviously plugged in and said something to the tune of if it is what it appears to be, Davis is done

Davis’s situation reminds me of when Cael brought Andrew Long in from Iowa State. Immensely talented kid, but ran afoul more than once. Cael gave him a second chance at PSU before Long squandered it and Cael had no choice but to let him go too
I don't see ANY similarity between Long and Davis other than being troublemakers. As for Davis, we all remember him being a hothead on the mat as a freshman when calls did not go his way and hoping he would outgrow his lack of emotional maturity. Some never get there.
