Kentucky kinda reminds me of when South Carolina won early in the season. The only difference is I think they lucked up and got a really good coach. Florida did too.

I’m still unsure on Stein. He had a couple of head-scratchers during the game.
in his favor, he’s doing this with a QB that hasn’t found his footing yet.

I'm a fan of what he's doing. Best hire of the offseason. He's got his guys believing. They're going to take some lumps eventually but he's turned that program around.

I'm no Kentucky fan but good for them. It shows what's possible when you have the right guy. It reminds me of Mullen's first season here when he was still fat and hungry.

Arkansas needs to embrace they aren't in the SWC any longer. If they find a .500 coach, they better hold on tight. They shouldn't have fired Bielema when they did.

But looks like they will get their sacrificial pound of flesh with the AD. Silverfield may be safe for a year.

It’s not that Arkansas doesn’t embrace the new model. They just simply don’t have any money.
The money is out there, Yurachek is NIL dumb & nobody likes him. Drake Lindsey should be at Ark, with his family's millions. That's just one of many 17 ups by the AD.
Here's a quote by Yurachek
"10,000 households in Arkansas need to step up and donate $1,200 a year"
Calapari had to go straight to John Tyson because HY wouldn't.

They (Board of Trustees) ran the Waltons off a few years back by not even considering their preferred candidate for university chancellor.

I like Stein's mentality on OT strategy.

Punch it in the end zone and go for 2 right off the bat. No hesitation. No fear. Go for the dub. Kids wanna play for a guy like that.

That’s great if the defense plays 2 deep safeties (in the 3-yard line!) & leave the middle of the field wide open. But it’s a 45% gamble. Kentucky coach is lucky.

I just had flashbacks to 2002 when our church underwent a renovation. Our preacher said the same thing about the 120 families in the church at the time. Three people could've written checks to cover it all, and were willing, but he refused to ask.
