Agree. The dude actually likes the Kansas State logo though. Might be some connections there on why he’d be offended by the sharpest uniforms we’ve worn in years.
I dont even know what the Kansas State logo is or do I care. In a separate thread I explained why our current logo is not changing. I'm sorry if so many went into butt hurt mode over that, but it does not change the basic economics of why it is true.

what is it you do for a living? Since it’s anonymous hopefully you’re not too embarrassed to say. I have a theory about people on the internet who anonymously talk about IQ
Internet posters are so predictable. Dont worry about what I did for a living. Mind your own railroad please.

It’s essentially the same one you’re using as your avatar.

All we did with there is copy the one KSU has used for decades, with the only differences being that ours is facing the opposite direction and has been slightly altered so that it kinda resembles two birds screwing.

So you’d really rather have that than the power K?

I don’t think we even need a “default” look, let’s just make them the PERMANENT look with no need to occasionally trot out alternatives.

Oregon started the whole idea of schools wearing multiple different looks in the same season. And a lot of needy programs were eager to copy them (ole Mitch Barnhart seemed especially keen on it). But that no longer seems cool, it can even seem desperate. The traditional top programs like Alabama don’t play that game.

UK doesn’t need checkerboards, chrome, gray, black, fornicating bird logos or any other gimmicks. It only needs a classic blue and white look like last night’s.
I like the special looks for certain games but I’d be happy with those for life.

Yes, for so many reasons. The broken/Houston "K" is for the loser teams of the past. We are a flashback to the awesome teams of the 70's.
Yeah, really all they did was over lap the U over the K but it hasn’t looked right since and most people can’t get used to it. It’s hard not to see UH. K over the U is how it should be

It's kinda impressive to have an opinion that literally not a single other person agrees with
You aren’t looking hard enough. I’ve seen others.

Seems older people love it and younger people don’t or don’t give a crap.

Absolutely agree with this. I loved last night’s uniforms. They should become permanent and known as THE look of the Will Stein era.

That would be SO much better than the constantly-changing “gimmick of the week” thing we did during the Barnhart era. Let’s pick ONE classic look and stick with it for awhile …and that look should not have any checkerboards, chrome, grey or logos that look like fornicating birds.

The problem is they are from another era of UK football. They are throwbacks like when nfl teams such as Steelers and packers they break it out once in a while. I like mixing it up and this new option modernized is our best option. But still once maybe twice in inaugural season.

The K in the center of the field though lol think should stay. It’s about as good as it gets. I wouldn’t mind to see that on the hardwood either

Wheres all the kick the field goal peeps. Dude hit under 50% last year. Should have gone for it there?

The "Power K" is not coming back as the standard. Millions and Millions of dollars spent to change to the current logo and branding say otherwise. The Power K is a nice throwback to the past and using it from time to time is OK. But the University is not going back to it and NEVER was. Sorry to logic bust your bubble.

Reality of the modern world economic logic kinda sucks doesn't it? Sorry it hurt your brain and pride...

No old geezer, it's not happening and never will. But keep making more threads about it so I can laugh some more.

Well that is wrong. I explained the money reasons as to why this will NEVER happen in another thread. But your IQ must outpace your shoesize in order to understand what I said.

That would look amazing at Rupp. Or a blue state outline with a white power K.

I get ppl hate the checkerboard bc they think UT, or just dont like it, but I think it was never explained why we got them (or maybe it was). Theyre the racing slicks of secretariat..which i do think is kinda cool to incorporate a big part of lexingtons identity.

Except Secretariat wasn’t even from Kentucky. He was from Virginia, that’s where he was born, raised and based during his entire racing career. He didn’t get sold to the farm in Ky until he was old and retired.

So it just never made much sense for UK to theme its uniforms, in nearly all sports, after a horse from Virginia. Especially since they were ugly cheesy-looking uniforms that most of the fan base really disliked.
