UK is the only team in college that has two top 10 wins
I think these voters are not giving us credit for that A&M win since they've pretty much sucked since that loss. Not saying it's right because at that time the team was #9 and we were on the road. Not to mention the reason they were #9 was because of the same voters who now are downplaying our win against the #9 team that they ranked.

+ A&M's budget far exceeds ours

UCLA just beat their first real team in Oregon, and they shot up from NR to 12th. They play only one ranked team on their schedule the rest of the year.
UCLA is a fraud, pretty sure they’re going to take some losses. They’re just the newest shiny object that isn’t a SEC team.

Barely. And Oregon had 3rd string qb in.
Well I mean "barely" fits us these last two games, but that 3rd string QB is likely a big piece that should have been part of the coaches' voting mentality.

As Lameguy says above, UCLA is just getting the love after moving to the B1G and the IU hype.

These polls are both garbage.

1. Coaches. They are busy coaching. They dont watch the games. Some random staffer does the ballet.
2. Ap. They are no more qualified to rank teams than any of you or me. They have biases.

At least the playoff committee watches games and ranks teams pretty fairly overall IMO. Its why its the only poll that matters.

But hey these meaningless polls get us, especially me, yapping around the virtual water cooler so they serve some purpose.

The wins we thought were big ended up being over teams that will be sub-500 in conference. Playing neck and neck with an average SC team doesn't scream Top 25 (although now they have whooped Florida.)

The LSU win is the one that holds weight.

So, we're #15 in the A.P. (Always Preposterous) weekly idiot Rorschach test

Er... I mean Poll.

Still means nothing.

Just keep putting in the hard work, focus on yourself to get better every day. Play the game that exceeds the effort of the other team, out hustle them, play harder, want it more, stay agressive, use the other teams agression against themselves...

Execute what and how you know what you can do, and simply go do it. Really isn't that mentally challenging, narrowing it all down to that. I realize it's easier said than done, but that's how you make history, winning two OT football games, making history like that.

Truly a special year for us to be on the journey, keep it going guys !

Nevermind the polls, hell, we got a OK Corral shootout with Oklahoma coming up.

Go Big Blue !
