Georgia/Alabama

[RocketDawg]

I wish Kirby wasn't so stoic.

[patdog]

He’s another Tom Landry on the sidelines.

[Maroon13]

Welp, Alabama is back to being pedestrian.

... at least this half.

[Irondawg]

In one of the other threads we were talking about losing James (OT) to Bama.

Well he was the guy who whiffed on the block that led to the turnover on the first Bama drive

[RocketDawg]

That holding call was not wise. Sorta surprising they were able to score.

Georgia seems to be pretty good, and it's their first real test of the year.

[karlchilders.sixpack]

Not sure i'd go that far.

I’d still like to have him back.

[RocketDawg]

Georgia is a lot better than I thought they were.

[TilloDwg]

Stockton wit a frozen rope down the middle to the TE....beautiful throw.

[RocketDawg]

Not sure i'd go that far.

Wasn't Landry coaching the last time Dallas won a game?

[karlchilders.sixpack]

Gee, no strut in the EZ after a score, I like it.

[RocketDawg]

Things have taken a turn for the worse.

[patdog]

Wasn't Landry coaching the last time Dallas won a game?

Jimmy Johnson was. At least a playoff game.

[BulldogBlitz]

Jimmy Johnson was. At least a playoff game.

Nope. That was all jerruh's doing. Ask him.

[OG Goat Holder]

So is Bama

[karlchilders.sixpack]

Lot of big solid thick Linemen in this game.

[RocketDawg]

Russell is very mobile. Two good teams here.

[jethreauxdawg]

Herby gargles bama cúm.

[RocketDawg]

Ferrie would have made that FG.

[jethreauxdawg]

Herby about to have a stroke.

[Crazy Cotton]

Hate to see Alabama not get an obvious PI call, just gotta hate it. Debore gonna stroke out right there on the sideline. I'll send a card tomorrow or something.

[CascillaCountryClub]

Gumps didn’t get the PI call

[The Peeper]

I’d still like to have him back.

Really? I've never seen anybody whiff on so many blocks in my life as he did last season here. An old KS coach of mine would have called him a windmill blocker, stand in 1 place and flap his arms around like a windmill. He really was terribly poor as a blocker, especially as a pass blocker

[TilloDwg]

Lee for Bama just won dumbass play of the year....and gave UGA the win

Punching a guy in the head who's wearing a helmet isn't wise.

[Willow Grove Dawg]

You just gotta hate seeing Bama lose because all the 50/50 calls went against them.

No 17ing sarcasteriks

[RocketDawg]

Well, Alabama got scrod but I can't say I hate it.

17'n twice at that.

[Irondawg]

Georgia also a bit lucky with 3 fumbles they managed to recover. Good game overall.

clearly the best two teams in the league this year

[L4Dawg]

Bama got screwed…..too damn bad. The football Gods still owe the rest of us for about 50 years of biased calls the other way.

[FlotownDawg]

Those two teams will probably meet again in the SEC Championship Game. They both look clearly better than every other team in the conference.

[Anon1684630174]

And Ga was missing their 1 and 2 running backs and best wr among a few others. Ga is stout.

[Maroon13]

It will be interesting to see if they meet again. Neither play Texas. So what happens if Tx and bama tie in the standings.

UGA toughest sec game left may be at OM or Auburn or Florida
Bama at UT and lsu.
Texas at lsu.

Agree.

How many games have they won over the years because of complete screw job calls that went their way? In general, I hate to see refs decide the game but screw bama.

I think Texas will lose again. Probably more than once.

[skip dog]

That PI no call was one of the worst no calls ever........I guess the football gods determined it's bama's turn to get the obvious bad call!

UGA is strong

Arch Manning is a great story, and I am starting to think that he has had all the best coaches, and given the most attention at all the football camps, and is a good QB.......he just may not have the "IT" factor, or the GRIT needed to handle the tough situations
