Side note but it’s funny how (at least for now) Sydnor is listed at 6’8 210 and Buchanan 6’7 240 so you wouldn’t think there’s much of a size difference but Sydnor so much bigger than him height and length wise lol, probably the biggest disparity of sizes on the team from their listed to their actual

For consistency, if they are going to make up heights and say Gurdak is 6’10”, they should say Ware is 6’11” since he looks clearly taller than Gurdak.

Two things seem apparent from the team photo. Sydnor bulked up a lot since the first game of his freshman year when he was manhandled by Derik Queen of Maryland. Gurdak’s listed height of 6’10” is probably the most inflated height on the team. My confidence going into the season as a result has dropped considerably as I fear it will be difficult for him to match up with the truly big centers in the Big Ten.

Gurdak is more 6’8”, Syndor will be the only real rim protection, he's the only front court player that looks long, unless Miteo or Buca play a lot

Ware and Gurdak look same height if you remove Ware’s hair so both 6-8 to 6-9. Zero chance Gurdak is 6-10.

When Gurdack was interviewed by the guy who does the interviews (Chris something?) he did not tower over him. I’m guessing 6’6 and 3/4 bare feet. Since he will play in shoes that makes him 6’8. Not close to 6’10

Pretty surprised with how small Gurdak is. I imagine he’s good with using his body to rebound and position himself but definitely no rim protection.

Hate to break it to you but the entire team is 6’1”. Who cares if they added a few inches to a player. The bottom line is how the team gels together. Remember a mismatch on one end means the big will have to cover RU guys who are probably quicker

His name was Christian Gurdak. I don't think he was any taller than Amani Hansberry who they listed at 6' 8".

All pathetic just list the damn heights like at a doctor’s office - barefoot!!!! This isn’t complicated

The listed heights currently I believe are not updated and just whatever their previous team had them at. While Rutgers certainly participates in the heightflation it’s clear they’re not the only ones. One side note, I wonder if Will’s height is purposely underrepresented as a way to make it clear he’s not a center, he’s a wing.
