We all saw how bad and lazy that ref crew was but this roughing call was right in the open and missed.

But bigger question, did Phillips ever come back into the game after that play as he seemed to have a leg issue?

The call wasn't "missed," it was ignored. And that, along with all the bogus PI calls, was bullshitttttt. What a horrible bunch of refs. They should be workin' the WNBA.

Absolutely... And there's a huge difference in "missed" and "ignored". Refs should be disciplined for ignoring a personal foul like that after the play.

Just inviting dirty play in GARBAGE TIME by a bunch of POS frustrated Washington players.

I was kind of flabbergasted Washington kept trying to get a meaningless score at the end. After that ******** on Phillips it was opening a door for a retaliatory strike. Should have just taken the L and ran the clock out.

That was kind of classless. Washington simply isn’t that good of a football team. Before the season started I was somewhat surprised by much of the angst about playing them. I suppose most of it was related to traveling to the west coast? I guess that monkey is off of Iowa’s back now.

When a ref doesnt call something like that and the game is decided, it's time for one of our players to fling their qb into the ground after the next play. That's 100% on the ref at that point and KF shouldn't mind one bit.

He appeared to be walking on the sideline without a noticeable limp after the play. Not that that means anything. Assuming it's an aggravation of the previous ankle injury, it'll likely be something he has to nurse the rest of the year.

that was a business trip last night if I'd ever seen one..OL was pissed after a few weeks of everyone ripping on them and complaining about the run game. Hawk fans showed out and pumped up the boys, Lester had a masterclass on the play sheet and Kamari was trucking dudes...Montgomery at Lb might be most improved player on team, guy is fearless and hits like Higgins. Buff is Buff, only getting better and LB room is scary..Reis was a revelation on 3rd down packages and special teams.

You're going to tell your team that is way behind, NOT to try to score? Talk about teaching them a "give up" mentality. No wonder you’re not a FB coach. You'd lose your team quickly.

I didn't have a problem with Washington trying to score, and they did. What irritates me is Ferentz being conservative with 3 running plays and then needing to punt. Like nobody could see what was going to happen in the last couple of minutes with our 2nd and 3rd stringers in there on D.

Weird take. The only thing that matters at that point is to run clock. The game is over. Keep the clock moving and go home. That's being smart.

Agreed. And maybe get 2nd/3rd string a few reps, but wouldn't risk playing ANYONE of importance in garbage time. LJ, imo, IS a person of importance. One good thing, however, is 15 days off for more therapy for LJ.
