We weren’t playing two of the top DLs in all college football like we did the last couple weeks.Yeah, so what changed in the running game to get it going.
Washingtons defense not that good?
And if KF hadn't gone turtle mode, as he always does with a lead, Iowa easily could have put up around 55 points. I mean, fourth and 1 and you try to draw them offside and then you punt? LOL That's SO KF, and it's so stupid. Iowa was running all over UW, yet KF wouldn't trust his offense to gain ONE yard . . . Wow. Not surprising, of course, but really damn frustrating and, TBH, embarrassing.Who would have thought? Wow!
A couple of us in the prediction threadWho would have thought? Wow!
Aren't "style points" kind of important when a committee is determining your post-season fate? Ofc something like that would never occur to KF, but I don't want to sound too critical after a big win either. But still ... 50+ would've been nice. And if KF hadn't gone turtle mode, as he always does with a lead, Iowa easily could have put up around 55 points. Considering we hadn't won a regular season game on the West coach since 1965... Yeah.Best west Coast game I can remember
So would 90% of the posters. If you had told me we would score 41 pts I would have assumed a ST teams score and a couple of turnovers would have been involved
and what makes it really aggravting is that the worst thing that could have happened is Washington has a first down at their own 40 with a 23-point deficit and about 4 minutes to play. no way could they have come back from that. And if KF hadn't gone turtle mode, as he always does with a lead, Iowa easily could have put up around 55 points. Your such a clown. That doesn't mean they couldn't stop you on any one play, and why risk it when your beating them by 20-30 points and give them any momentum, on a short field. There's no style points for scoring one more time either. And if KF hadn't gone turtle mode, as he always does with a lead, Iowa easily could have put up around 55 points. No. We'll get in the playoff if we go 10-2 minimum or 11-1 for sure. Whether or not we scored 10 more points against Washington will have pretty much no impact on us getting in. And what probably "occured to Kirk" was not giving them any momentum on a shorter field when we were controlling the game.Aren't "style points" kind of important when a committee is determining your post-season fate? Not really about style points, but I would have liked to have seen Iowa take a shot right before the end of the first half. The way we were moving the ball, putting that dagger in right before half could have been big.Your such a clown. 10-2 to CFP is no gimme...sure, it's a chance and depending who we beat and/or lose to, yet the SEC will def get picked over a 10-2 Iowa team unless it's a Top 10 NW loss for example, etc.No. We'll get in the playoff if we go 10-2 minimum or 11-1 for sure. Your right, its "really aggravating" . Good Lord, some of you guys. Many here thought we'd lose another left coast game on a short week. Instead we go out and play the best all round game of the season and secure a solid conf win, that many put down as a possible loss pre season, and we're aggravated that We didn't risk giving them better field position in a game we had well in hand. This forum is maddening some times.and what makes it really aggravting is that the worst thing that could have happened is Washington has a first down at their own 40 with a 23-point deficit and about 4 minutes to play. no way could they have come back from that.

I already said 10-2 is a MAYBE at this time. I just don't see people on here losing their SHite over not having one more score. Some of the same people questioning the thought process of trying to hit 50 are the same ones who thought we'd go out to Seattle and lose, and NOW there is something else to gripe about.
