OSU will host Gardner Webb, SIU Edwardsville and Little Rock on 11/1/2026 starting at 10AM. I have to say I am Underwhelmed at the level of competition BUT it is wrestling and I will be there. Season ticket holders will be given priority in purchasing tickets at a discounted rate.

No need to be underwhelmed. It's just your wrestleoffs. Little Rock will have some tough guys - and from a fan perspective - not all freaking day affair like an open.

Yep. How many of us would have killed to have been in the room to watch the wrestle offs last year? This year its where everyone can see them. The addition of the other 3 teams is to let the guys get a match or two with someone outside the room and to make it more of an "event".

Im 1000% stoked for this. In years past when there were RSs we might have to wait months to see a new recruit, along w/ scrambling and waiting for scraps of info to trickle out of the room. Now with 5-4-5 and this event we get to see all the new additions, transfers and weight changes at the very start of the season! For instance, as early as Nov 1st we get to see how Rocklin matches up with some other D1 125's and then with Troy. How can anyone NOT be pumped for this?

My gut says they will do matches on the room and the final 2 will wrestle in the open. Now they may do 3 at a weight or 2 but I don't expect all 30 guys

Hard to say. Most weights the third guy on the totem pole wont matter. But a weight like 41 or 65? Sign me up for 3 deep! Regardless this is a great event and will put eyes from across the country on Cowboy wrestling early!

I had to call the ticket office to purchase my tickets this morning because the link they sent me for purchasing last night did not work nor did the tickets show up in my OSU ticket account for season ticket holder early purchase. I was only able to get GA and was told reserved seating was sold out.

3-1/2 more weeks boys! Nov 1st cant get here quick enough! I'm still not sure people realize how awesome this event will be. Sure we know our studs will win big but besides watching what are basically some awesome wrestle offs, who's ready to watch guys like the Raney's, Lorenzo Norman and Mikey White wrestle not 1, but probably 3 matches right in GIA ?!!?

Was really hoping for a morning tailgate but for now its not happening. Lets hope that changes!

Let's go! Any idea if it'll be streamed? The schedule page doesn't have streaming info for any of our events yet.

I was told on Friday last week there would be no livestream. Announcement today about OnCue being a sponsor also says no livestream.

Insane it's 2026 and they make all these stilly boys videos and no live stream of the event WOW

They want to use this to fundraise, fill seats and rally the base. Selling streaming rights would make sense but just streaming to stream feels less obvious. I get the motivation to want it streamed though:)

Honest question then… in that case, is it as simple as if ESPN wanted to broadcast, they would? Are we able to decline streaming if they already have the rights to them?
In the past ESPN + has showed the keystone classic but this year that's on FLO. Sounds like ESPN+ isn't into doing tournaments unless it's conference or NCAA

It's wild to me how wrestling people bash flo when they cover wrestling 365 days a year and ESPN has it a few days a year and they never promote it. On top of that they've rights to many conferences and don't feel the need to put the time and effort into wrestling which means the fans miss out.

It's insane. And Flo makes it watchable. Have you tried to watch a tournament other than NCAAs on ESPN? It's ridiculous.

Yes I have and it's a mess . I feel bad for the families of the athletes who now can't watch. Most parents don't have a money tree that allows them to attend everything

ESPN has 1st right. They can choose to utilize it or decline.

If they decline, it can be purchased. If they utilize, they can cover or sell or not.

It makes zero sense to have this a “revenue generating event” and not stream it.

Make ESPN stream it. If they don’t want to - sell it to Flo.

The people who want to watch it from home aren’t the people who are going to watch matside.

Ugh
Huh? 1) if it’s already part of the rights package OSU wouldn’t get the $ anyway if ESPN let someone else carry it, so how would OSU benefit? 2) butts in the seats plus concessions would be worth far more unless they did PPV, and even then I doubt many would pay $25 or $30 for PPV

Like it or hate it but I don't understand not getting it. To me it makes sense not to stream this. It is not a major event and they really want people there. If they streamed it I probably wouldn't go. Since they aren't streaming it I'm going to go now.

It's not very "church friendly" having it on a Sunday at 10:00 am.

I'm trying to convince my mom we are having a surprise 79th birthday party for her in Stillwater. So far no luck, if anyone has DT's number so he can call and invite her that would be great :)
