Playing a top 10 team in the state in Chambers as well as a conference opponent in CSOD, who we always beat, widely considered a top 5 team in 2A West. Additionally won by 3 scores and SHUT OUT 7A Independence who has great coaching and an amazing team last year??? I think the schedule speaks for itself. Would love to see what Tarboro could do on this side of the state, would be too banged up by week 4 to even compete.I’d be careful about accusing Tarboro of playing wimpy conference games if I were you….looking at your schedule.

our football program is in its 5th year, our one sec commit did not play football before coming to corvian, yall have had nfl talent.
Everybody has won against “7A Independence”. Think the only team they have won was against Harding? This is not the days of old with Coach Knotts, and Chris Leak when I watched Independence beat Richmond Sr, Butler, or East Forsyth every year in the playoffs at Memorial Stadium.
And CSOD? Watched them lose at home to West Stokes three weeks ago. Not impressed. So sure, your team should beat them, along with the likes of Lincoln Charter, Pine Lake Prep, Bradford, Langtree and Christ The King…all teams that make little noise.
I thought the kid the brought up JV looked good too. He looked explosive. And Reggie at QB looks like a blur when he gets in space.
