Hendo 28 Owen 17 halftime. We have drove the ball on them all night. Got to red zone first drive and got no points. Settled for a fg at end of half. Just proud our boys are fighting. Hendo offense is just good!
In all seriousness, Joey Robinson did an amazing job in the weightroom too. Are the heritage kids not as physical as previous years?
I think they're fine in the weight room we just replaced all but two players on deffense and the inexperience is showing.
Scores mean nothing game to game with high school kids and momentum and injuries anything can happen Polk handled Madison 48 to 9 tonight and everyone was predicting a closer game its hard to compare scores anything can happen I've said all along Polk had some injuries some poor play Mitchell Heritage and Owen were better for sure but they weren't as much better as the scores indicated Polk didnt play there best games some of that is for sure there opponents and some of that is on Polk and the way they played tonight they played better and I'm sure Madison didnt play at there best and you get a lopsided score things happen its easy to just look at scores and make comments but unless you have set and watched these teams play week in a week out you just dont know there are many things that come into play Im just proud of the Polk seniors who came out tonight played there tails off to walk off that field one last time with a victory.
