Does a public execution make it more or less likely for terrorists to commit terrorism? No idea if this is a shameful thing for them or if it's like some perverse martyrdom thing where they get fired up to imitate. In rare cases I’m for it. If they had publicly executed Lindsey Clancy, there wouldn’t be a single further case of that instead of the several copycats we’ve seen since. This terrorist deserves it. This is not a civilian issue. This is the military. He attacked and killed his fellow soldiers. The rules and norms are not the same. He took an oath. When you take the oath, you lose most of your rights under the constitution. You fall under the UCMJ. With that said make it paid preview and give the money to the wives, kids, siblings or parents of the soldiers he killed. He is a piece of trash and should be treated as one. Before they kill him, they should strip him down, tie him up spread eagle, carve I love Jesus on this chest, let other soldiers piss on his face
Well, when it comes to jihadists…..this is their fondest dream come true. VERY bad idea. Mission accomplished for the perp. A HUGE recruiting tool for jihad. Better to let them be held for life in the general population of the worst prisons we have, and be exposed to everything that means. You missed the point as much as that ignoramus Hegseth did. This is what they WANT. You do not give them what they want. This guy and those that think like him will see this as him being given the highest ultimate reward possible, dying as a martyr, and he get to do it with the highest visibility possible.
