I ran the distance from C Central to the East schools. I guess the closest would be Wilson Prep 99 miles, E Columbus 116 miles and SB Howard 106. I think there will be byes for most of the 1-5 seeds on both sides, maybe the 6's in the first round.
Yes the Number 1 seed is important this year because there seem to be three powerful teams and the 1 seed can avoid having to play both.
If we drop a game in conference, we can kiss the 1 seed goodbye, because I don't think you guys, or Edenton will lose in conference.
You do realize this is the toughest conference that Tarboro has played in in well over a decade right? Not to mention last year Kinston gave Tarboro a heck of a game final score was 42-35. Now in previous conferences sure you got me there was virtually zero chance of them losing.

Conference is much tougher now than it has since 2012. I fully expect the Vikings to take care of business and go undefeated, but they cannot sleepwalk through any of these games.
For years, people always knocked Tarboro for the conferences they were in. This past realignment did indeed upgrade their competition. Hell, they are the only 2A team in a 3A conference. Greene Central, Farmville Central, and Kinston are all supposed to be tough battles, however, Greene Central has already been railed twice, Farmville got blown out last year and are giving up 50 points a game this year, so eh. And although Kinston gave Tarboro a close, classic game last year on their way to the state championship, they are far from the caliber of team they had last year. So no, Tarboro isn't losing a conference game this year either.
What’s your beef with Starmount, with the constant snarky comments and hate? The Rams not meeting your expectation? Or you still sore they waxed your team last year in the playoffs and sent them back up the mountain with their tails between their legs? Nothing but respect here for the folks in Mitchell County, but geez.

They should go undefeated I agree. But unlike previous conferences, Tarboro can't play sloppy or they'll lose.
They have solid team , west is wide open . That school in Charlotte is the favorites in my opinion.
Im sure there are other conferences like that. I was just referring to Tarboro's conference specifically. It's a 3A conference that includes 2A Tarboro.
I agree but the way Greene Central handled Kinston Friday night it seems as if y’all are in the clear. That conference appears to be down from last year.

We don’t have anyone on Kams level, but I do feel overall, the offense is a little deeper and may be better than last years squad. We just cannot fumble the ball which we’ve done a few times.It’s either that or Tarboro is just a whole lot better than they were last year
Shouldn’t be a challenging game for the Cardinals at all. Let the game between these two last year stay close but this team is much more developed than last year. Cardinals should put the finishing touches on it halfway through the 3rd.
Awesome stuff. Truly do think we have the best chance in the West. Murphy is a talented team, haven’t looked into them much in terms of this year yet. Starmount seems like the biggest obstacle in the West but im honestly not too worried.
