How Much Will A Steady Rain During UK vs. LSU Game Affect Crowd Enthusiasm and Which Team Would Benefit The Most If It Rains Throughout Game

I for one feel like A steady rain Saturday afternoon and evening would really dampen the UK fans enthusiasm for tailgating and sitting throughout the entire game.
I would sit in the rain to watch our Cats take down LSU but I know for a fact my wife would not as she would be listening to game on radio staying dry in the car.
What are some other UK fans thoughts?

If it rains all day then I think that is an advantage to LSU. I think when all is said and done they have the better rushers and line than we do at this stage of the Stein era. I think Stein fixes this in the near future but just my take on this game.

I was just at the NC State Louisville game and it started raining about an hour before the game and continued til about halftime. A lot of people had the canopy tents at the rear of their trucks/SUVs and still had TVs out under the tents. It’s been a while since I’ve been to commonwealth and it appears on Google Maps that there are more paved lots than back when I went. So I think the atmosphere will be good. NC State was 2-2 prior to Loserville and still showed out. Their fans remind me a lot like UK fans. They have a sweet setup because the football field is next to Lenovo Center for basketball and hurricane hockey, so there was plenty of paved area for tailgating. I hope Will Stein can channel Rich Brooks and not Guy Morriss for this LSU game.

This is going to be a trenches game anyway, the big blue wall vs lsu strength on the line.

As long as its not an utter down pour hopefully we will be okay...a delay in game will be disastrous tho.

But I mean, look at this, you cant make it up. Mother nature has hated lexington weekends all year. I mean, someone should inform her it's okay to storm on a Tuesday instead

Our fans are going to be crazy either way, especially if it’s a tight game! I 100% like our backs as good or better overall than theirs, Now protecting the ball will be key for us no doubt but we’ve been really good this season, I like a rainy game to be in our favor. I can also see this seasons Cats give them a heck of a game in a shootout as well. Stein and Co has this team playing their tails off and playing with a ton of heart, 7 out of ten games, they probably beat us, Saturday, we’re going to give them everything they want I believe. Crowd is going to be Rocking Rain or shine.

I think bad weather helps LSU's cause in this but I'll not concede our chances. I think UK's line and running backs stack up plenty well but our D line and depleted LB corps have a huge challenge to face in this one.

We’re definitely going to need to score to have a chance. Plus two turnovers could go a long way. Honestly, I can see it going either direction, they kill us or we keep it close with a chance at the end. Play smart and with all they have is what I’m hoping. I’m nervous about it but also excited. 😆

Just thinking about the hope for +2 turnovers...

Isn't the LSU QB Leavitt more of a risk-taker as a passer? If that is correct, I would think a rainy game may benefit LSU b/c I would think he would be more cautious with rain as opposed to when weather conditions are good.
