Underwood is strategic in his recruiting with a couple of top 50 HS kids mixed with vet euro recruits.
But I suspect Underwood is going to continue with euro portal guys going forward with the tight connection his asst coach has in europe.

Ben passed on Banks,our 2nd best player.
Maybe TJ had no one at pg all off-season working to secure a starting spot?
Otherwise, Ben's point is valid...TJ squashed someone's dream of playing pg at ISU next year.

Well said. I said exactly the same thing about bringing Graves back on the football team in the fall and many disagreed. These guys have put in the work (some for three years) and its their turn now. Bringing back a player after winter workouts, spring practice, summer work , and the beginning of fall, and placing him in front of the guys in the program, is wrong, and i'm glad that Ben and I think Kirk would agree with that.

Cignetti said similar things from the moment he signed with IU. And he has delivered. Ben will do the same. It's refreshing to have a guy running the program who publicly admits he's trying to win BIG and national titles, not just piddle around with mediocrity.
