Bet heavy then...I did
I mean the data doesn't support your claims here. A lot of this is still emotion over 1 game. We still should have beat Wisconsin
Why should we have beat Wisconsin?

1st downs: Wisc 18, PSU 12
Total yards: Wisc 355, PSU 233

The only reason the game was close was because Wisconsin's QB threw 3 ridiculous interceptions. PSU's offense didn't generate a single TD. The way I see it is that PSU got their butts kicked.

They didn't get their "butts kicked", if you actually watched the game. Our "offense" never showed up, and neither did Wiskies for 3.5 quarters. 200 of the 355 yards were in the 4th quarter. So, the math says Wisky generated only 155 total yards in 3 quarters. The defense played well enough for PSU to win. Had the offense been able to sustain at least ONE drive, the game is over. How does a team kick our butts if the QB threw 3 picks and their offense only generated 155 yards on offense through 3 quarters, that logic is dumb. Keep in mind that Wisky received a little help on a no OPI call in the end. When your offense continues to have quick three and outs, your defense starts to get tired. Which is exactly what happened.

Tengwall's talking about how USC's got an extremely athletic DL. Ok. And maybe they'll be great against us.

But then why are they so bad at playing defense? Make no mistake, if USC stops Penn State, it's because of Penn State, not USC and their godawful passing downs defense.

Penn State can't run, pass, stop the run, and the coaching staff can't pick up tells they are giving away. The only thing they can do is cover wide receivers, but that will change because they can't pressure the QB, he will have all night to throw. This should be a blow out for USC.
USC couldn't blow out Rutgers or Washington. I would absolutely pick Northwestern to beat USC, maybe by multiple tds

I am quite certain that if Landon told you what he thought of the USC defense - it would be anything but good.

Tengwall ain't a dope.

Urban Meyer has said the white out is worth 10 points.

Now if only it were worth 35 we would be in business this Saturday 😂
10 points is ridiculous. I give PSU 3 points for HFA and add an extra 1.5 for a white out. The PSU white out and an LSU night game are my two biggest HFA advantages in CFB.

The Buckeyes will never play us in a night White Out again, they are a Big Noon game team.

A blown coverage/potential OPI was the only reason we lost
You see it that way because you want to see it that way

Did you guys watch the Obligatory podcast? Horne, Buchignani, and Tengwall had a brutal take on PSU pretty much saying this was the worst PSU football team ever. They were predicting that PSU would lost to USC in a blowout. Mike the Mailman was telling people to wear blue to the whiteout in protest.

I have difficulty reconciling those guys predicting a 20+ point loss and PSU being a 1.5 pt favorite.

This is the same game I watched as well, and why the loss stung even more. It was painful, and then had to endure the exact same meltdown last week in the Eagles/Rams game. I hate sports.

USC says f the budget our band isn't missing a white out. Hopefully we bring the beat down so we don't have to hear them all night long.

Did they watch the 2004 offense or 2013 defense?
