This is my guess. Win 1 n sec tourney and 1 n ncaa and 24 and 12 overall. Pope will brag about how we improved and hes doing better than Cals last 3 seasons as if thats an accomplishment or high bar to set.

Realistically, 22-10 because we'll drop 2 SEC road games that we shouldn't.

Either way, another 10+ loss season at the end with the tournament losses.

We make the semifinals of the SEC tournament and bow out in the Sweet 16.

Apples and oranges. First Eastern has never won a title UK has won 8. It is not unreasonable to think they might win another. Second Eastern has never even been to Sweet 16 UK has been 46 times as well as at least 16 FF. How is it unreasonable to think they might do it again.

For startes, have you seen the current EKU team play? That was the argument, correct?

But, I'll allow the goalposts move and play along.

UK hasn't won a title in 15 years. The 8 titles you mentioned, 4 of those came over 68 years ago. The 5th was almost 50 years ago.

So, yea, pretty long odds.

As for sw16, we have been to one in the last 7 years. So, again, odds aren't exactly on our side.

Lastly, we have arguably the worst or 2nd worst coach in our history since Rupp. Again, odds aren't in our favor. He’s also made 1 Sw16 in 11 years of coaching.
