Yup. Called it. My post wasn't even cold before we went right back to "LOOK, ALL TRANS PEOPLE ARE VIOLENT."
First off, that mass-shooting graphic you're posting has already been fact-checked and the underlying numbers are wrong. The Gun Violence Archive found only 5 trans perpetrators among 5,729 mass shootings in its database through Aug 25. What's my response supposed to be? Now do youth pastors? Le sigh.
What am I falling for? That transgender crime has any significant impact on society compared to any others? I hate to break it to you, but crime is crime. I'm sorry you only care about 1 infinitesimal segmant of it. Personally, I care about ALL of it, hence why you won't see me starting threads about the smallest portion of it or selective outrage over it. I'm not a pawn.

3. Robin M. Westman (born Robert) – August 27, 2025, Annunciation Catholic Church/School, Minneapolis. Assigned male at birth; legally changed name in 2020 citing female identification. Opened fire during a school Mass (two children killed, many injured) before suicide. 4. Audrey Hale (also known as Aiden Hale) – March 27, 2023, Covenant School, Nashville. Trans man (confirmed by Nashville police). Killed 6 (3 children, 3 adults) before being killed by police. Widely treated as a confirmed case across databases. factcheck.org
5. Anderson Lee Aldrich – November 19–20, 2022, Club Q, Colorado Springs. Identified as nonbinary (they/them) in court proceedings. Killed 5 and injured many at an LGBTQ nightclub; pleaded guilty. Some acquaintances questioned sincerity given prior anti-LGBT views; GVA includes it. factcheck.org
6. Alec McKinney – May 7, 2019, STEM School Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Trans boy (confirmed via statements to investigators about being born female and transitioning). One of two shooters; 1 killed, multiple injured. crimeresearch.org

You're still arguing a point I wasn't making. But here we go for the 100th time.
Let's say your 12–16x figure is completely accurate for the very specific category you're measuring in 2024 (as single year). That still doesn't answer my point. You're taking a tiny subset of violent crime, finding a disproportionate rate for ONE demographic (trans) and then repeatedly making that demographic the subject of the discussion. That's literally what I've been frack'n talking about.
And even your own source makes sure to include very important context in it...the 12–16x figure is from 3 of 25 FBI active-shooter incidents in 2024. When CPRC looks at the broader 2018–2024 period using the FBI data, its ratio drops to 2.5–3.4x depending on which population estimate it uses.
You're still missing MY actual point. A trans person commits a horrific crime? Condemn them. A teacher does it? Condemn them. A pastor does it? Condemn them. A Republican, Democrat, Black person, white person, immigrant, straight person, whatever? Same answer.

Um....No, you didn't "fact check" my post. You changed the parameters.
The 5 I cited was the Gun Violence Archive's count as of August 2025...five transgender/nonbinary perpetrators among 5,729 U.S. mass shootings since 2013.
Your list adds two shootings from 2026, neither of which could possibly have been included in an August 2025 count. And one of them was in Canada, while the GVA figure I cited was for US incidents.
So congratulations, you found additional cases that happened after the data cutoff and one outside the dataset.

My point was pretty dadgum simple...you guys keep making the demographic the story. A trans person commits a horrific crime and immediately it's "TRANS VIOLENCE" and another graphic about trans people. I literally said in my post we should focus on the individual crime and holding the person accountable.
And your response to that is to tell me about an "angry mob of trans people" and blame Democrats. Which, ironically...or not ironically, is exactly the behavior I'm talking about. I'm not blaming the right for the existence of these crimes. I'm saying stop turning every crime committed by a trans person into a referendum on trans people. Evil is evil. That's it.

In fact, I've said the exact opposite repeatedly...if somebody commits a horrific crime, punish them and hold them accountable. I don't care if they're trans, straight, black, white, Republican, Democrat, teacher, pastor or anything else.
My argument has been you guys have become hyperfixated on making the demographic the story....a trans person commits a horrific crime, immediately it's "TRANS VIOLENCE,"...no other crime seems to matter. Despite the fact I've shown data that trans are a tiny demographic and that, regardless of whatever particular per-capita rate you're arguing about, they account for a tiny fraction of overall violent crime.
That doesn't make the individual crimes any less horrific. It means I don't fracking understand why this is the demographic you've decided to make a your recurring political hill to die on. Oh, I know why...because the GOP spent over half its campaign budget on telling MAGAs it's the #1 issue in America. It's brilliant actually. They convinced half the population that 1% of the population is causing the majority of the issues.

That's what you are doing. You are claiming they shouldn't be grouped together into a demographic..... and now you are playing the "anecdotal" card (tiny fraction).

My point is that the Trans issue is far bigger on the left then on the right. Period. The left are ones clamoring for biological males to compete with biological females in female competition. The left are the ones looking to make "gender affirming care" available to children and teens. The left are the ones teaching 72 genders and having drag queens in elementary school.
The right is REACTING to it. And for some reason, you think it's a problem.

I'm talking about what happens after the individual crime...how the person's identity gets attached to the crime, repeated over and over, and eventually the demographic itself becomes the story.
Now, you may disagree with Doyle's politics...not my point. But the section about how language and framing can take individual behavior and turn it into a broader narrative about an entire group is exactly what I'm talking about. The crime is real. The accountability should be real. But the demographic doesn't need to become the villain. Unless, of course, you think teachers shold be feared. It's 100% fact MORE teachers have sexually abused more children than trans people..

Despite the fact that in my 52 years I've never once seen a drag queen in person, I've never had any of my children read a story by a trans person, and somehow I'm supposed to believe kids are getting their genitals chopped off every day. I'm 100% certain you've never personally experienced most of this either, but we must save all the children, right?!
Meanwhile, there are kids being abused by their straight parents, kids growing up in homes with alcoholism and domestic/sexual violence, kids going hungry because their families can't afford food, kids being neglected, kids cycling through foster care, kids dealing with homelessness, kids whose parents are addicted to drugs, kids being bullied at school, kids dropping out, kids who can't read at grade level, kids growing up in poverty...heck, my son's friend just blew his brains out last Friday. He was 13. His parents and siblings were straight white folk.
But somehow THIS is the hill we're supposed to die on. smh
