The 3M thing is still alive and well; McBride looked very good. I think he could easily be our 3rd best player. Ousmane also showed well even though his shots weren't falling.

Do yall think Braydon is gonna be a meaningful contributor this year? He’s still really streaky, just would hate to see him wait another season to really do much of anything

I wish I could say otherwise, but I wasn't horribly impressed by the scrimmage. I've been in the group thinking this year will be a step forward, but I'm not sure I saw that in those 24 minutes. Diallo seemed non-existent on the court.

Ousmane will be a problem for other teams if he plays as well as he did in the Pro Day scrimmage.
interestingly, I thought Potter played well. He has a nice touch around the hoop. Goose said he gives Moreno all he wants at practice.
It made me think Potter will be a suitable backup for Moreno.
one of the coaches said they might play Frank and Moreno at the same time in certain situations.
Lots to improve upon I suppose but I thought the team looked pretty decent especially shooting the 3 ball.

Well I am a Cats fan; that's why I don't piss on all UK players like I was a UL fan.
Pissing on him and hoping he’s not the third best player isn’t synonymous. If he’s our eighth or ninth best player, we’re in business. He’s not a bad player at all, but he’s not a stud on a really good SEC team. If he’s a stud, we’re going to be something close to last seasons team. That’s a problem.

I think Mc Bride could contend for one of the all sec teams. Good player. In fact I think we could have several players in that conversation

If he's our third best player and is only as good as you have decided he is, then yes, that would be bad. But I've been watching basketball for 60 years and I believe my eyes and my eyes have told me McBride is much better than you're giving him credit for.

Keep in mind, our best 5-7 players were spread out on two different teams with different combinations in each session. It’s much more difficult to look like a cohesive unit when you have backups mixed in with a couple starters.

The only thing I was concerned about, was how little Momcilivic did. He’s going to be heavily covered every game, he needs to work harder to get open. Jamal Murray was the best at working to get open, he used to run wild like Rip Hamilton. I don't seem Mom playing with that much energy.

Other than that, I thought we looked pretty good for October.

Mom is the very least of my worries. He’s going to be what he is. Zoom scares me —- he doesn’t look like he wants to shoot from the outside at all. Even with a major gap, he still was forcing the drive. That could be a very serious problem. Hopefully, I’m overreacting to a tiny sample size and he kills it. So far — yikes.

Yeah, he is way too quiet, at times you don't know he's out there.
But, his stats from last year are very close to what Wilkins did and you definitely know when he is out there.
Hopefully Zoom is a great defender at least.

Until we see these guys play against different competition, you can only take so much of them playing against themselves. JMHO
