Immigrants are fine and necessary but as a sovereign nation we have the right to pick and choose, with whatever selection criteria we deem appropriate, who is allowed in and allowed to stay. This isn’t that difficult. We aren’t the worlds daycare center and the only reason we have the ability to pay these massive handout entitlements is because we are the premier capitalist country in the history of the world and all that tax money can be stolen and given to others. Bringing in millions of low skill labor with no intention of assimilation isn’t going to perpetuate the current model - you need the best of the best. Not every single person that can manage to sneak into the country.
