Fify for accuracy..................So everyone who thinks Heck should be playing on Friday, (regardless of what you think about Brown), because Brown is f***ing injured, has some hope.
How is there zero chance when within the minimum recovery period?Zero chance Hank should start, 1 week is the bare minimum recovery time and who knows when it happened, maybe earlier in game and affected velocity, etc. I've seen these stretch out to several weeks depending on grade strain, we should all get our wish and Heck gets the reps in practice this week and good to go for Friday.
game is friday, so not a full weekHow is there zero chance when within the minimum recovery period?
Correct.game is friday, so not a full week
Yeah......God is trying to tell him he shouldn't be playing on Friday.More troubling is that he thinks God gave him this setback rather than Ohio States defense.
Or did God give Heck the opportunity? It’s all so confusing.
If you watch the play he threw the interception on, that was it. I can’t remember if that was the last throw or not but his arm got twisted up pretty bad badly.Zero chance Hank should start, 1 week is the bare minimum recovery time and who knows when it happened, maybe earlier in game and affected velocity, etc. I've seen these stretch out to several weeks depending on grade strain, we should all get our wish and Heck gets the reps in practice this week and good to go for Friday.
I agree. If not absolutely 100%, he should not play, especially since he and Heck were supposedly neck and neck. Why risk further injury unnecessarily?Even the big Hank fans should be rooting for Heck to start on Friday. If Hank plays he could easily aggravate the injury and be out even longer.
You can never be wrong, can you? Never seen a poster that has more goalposts movedCorrect.
But still in the realm of possibility.
Hank said in his interview they are also weighing the fact that he can get rest during the bye, if able to play.
Sounds like they're pushing to make it happen, if possible

I don't believe throwing is something that can cause further structural damage, in this case.I agree. If not absolutely 100%, he should not play, especially since he and Heck were supposedly neck and neck. Why risk further injury unnecessarily?
Gotta trust the staff to do the right thing.
No
Start Heck and if he was to get hurt, or perform poorly, Hank could perhaps be brought in vs Washington. However, with the bye week, it’s preferable to give Hank two full weeks of recovery.game is friday, so not a full week
Wouldn’t it still be Sullivan?
Unless heck plays well then bench Hank. He isn’t gonna be good enough to take this team where they want to go. Our defense, running game and kicker are not good enough to play a “game manager”. Especially one who puts the ball in danger as much as Hank. Were lucky we don’t have 5ints on the yearStart Heck and if he was to get hurt, or perform poorly, Hank could perhaps be brought in vs Washington. However, with the bye week, it’s preferable to give Hank two full weeks of recovery.
Probably happened when he got stip sacked on the first drive the way he threw the ball after that.Zero chance Hank should start, 1 week is the bare minimum recovery time and who knows when it happened, maybe earlier in game and affected velocity, etc. I've seen these stretch out to several weeks depending on grade strain, we should all get our wish and Heck gets the reps in practice this week and good to go for Friday.
He couldn’t hit open receivers at all in the second halfProbably happened when he got stip sacked on the first drive the way he threw the ball after that.
Amen.More troubling is that he thinks God gave him this setback rather than Ohio States defense.

still feel the offense will get some juice with Heck. Losing the job irked him and he's eager to ball out. Also feels like a tipping point game considering QB situation (injuries, inconsistency, etc).
Jeremy struggles and Iowa loses and, well, not sure where that leaves the Hawkeyes.
play well and win and then there’s some added momentum heading into the bye.
Our two QBs are not Tom Brady so I dont think it matters to Wash's prep for the gameI’ve heard/read enough to know that Jeremy needs to start Friday. I’m sure they’re being slightly coy to keep Washington guessing but in the end, it’s going to be Jeremy‘s ball game.
I think they will make their most concerted effort to run the ball.Hopefully they pound the ball with Phillips, run play action off of that, use the tight ends and roll out hecklinski. He looks very accurate on short to intermediate routes.
100% the gameplan we need...bring in B-Jack for some 3rd down swing passes or a wheel route as well + a few shots to RVZ and/or Diaz.Hopefully they pound the ball with Phillips, run play action off of that, use the tight ends and roll out hecklinski. He looks very accurate on short to intermediate routes.
I don't think he will be starting. Bet away.so is Heck starting? anyone know for sure? I have bets to place.
