more than most sports, soccer is a cruel cruel sport. we deserved the 3 points tonight...but that's the game.
Terps made it count when they needed to. congrats.
That's a tough loss. Damn. Let's take a look at things:
- RPI Maryland goes up a notch to #3. RU, however, drops from 27 to 36 (which seems a bit odd to me....)

- RU sits in 4th place of the B1G @ 3-2 with 9 points

@ Wisconsin (11 RPI) BUT 0-2-3 in 8th with 3 points MUST TIE MINIMUM
Indiana (8) 4-0-1 in 1st with 13 points
@ PSU (77) dead last at 0-5 MUST WIN
Michigan (93) next to last at 0-2-1 and a point MUST WIN
at MIchigan State (9) sitting in 3rd at 3-1 with 9. points MUST TIE MINIMUM

I can't imagine that making sense in any way.
All I can think of is
a) winning is better than losing for RPI
b) playing away is better than playing at home for RPI.
But even so, I don't understand this.
i think we have to go need a minimum of 7 points from those games. 8 would be great... 9-12 tremendous...I say that without fully understanding the B1G table... I am more thinking about the NCAAs...That's a tough loss. Damn. Let's take a look at things:

winning last night would have been huge. but onwards
I have a lot of belief in this team...they're very skilled. still not as opportunistic as I would like (for example, our captain needed to bury that chance with 2 mins to go...instead he hits it right at the keeper....ugh)
