Im expressly unhappy so far with Pope and don't see it ending well however I definitely agree. Lets all cheer for the guy and the program and hope he turns it around.

People complained for years about Cal. And it’s going to continue ‘till Pope gone. And if the next coach is less than satisfactory, it’ll continue on to the next guy. I don’t know why it’s hard for some of you to understand. Most people complain about their coaches, especially if they aren’t very good.

I don’t know why some of you get so riled up about other people’s opinions. It doesn’t hurt you for other people to complain. It’s not like they’re talking about a friend or family member of yours. Do you complain (the irony!) this much about other people’s political opinions? Their opinions on food? Does it physically harm you in any way?

It's nauseating that there can't be a thread without Pope bashing. A few of the people on here have made Pope hatred a central part of their core personality and it gets so fuggin old. Everyone is aware that a lot of people don't like Pope; there's absolutely no point to repeating it ad nauseum. People don't like Pope; we get it. It's all been said, A LOT.

I don’t particularly like Pope being bashed but if that’s what people choose to do so be it.
I think Mark is a good coach. He’s smart guy and has had some bad hands dealt to him with injuries and transfers.
It’s up to HIM to get better recruits and talented players. Whether that’s bringing in or back a high level recruiter or doing it himself it’s ultimately his gig.
I am loyal to BBN. So may on here are loyal to our team. There have been plenty of average teams at UK over the years. I support whoever is wearing Blue and White and won’t apologize for that.

I want the best players and banners too. But if anyone thinks Nate Oats is gonna hang one here Inthinknthey are mistaken.

I’m supporting MY team and Coach and if he fails, then we get another coach. Pretty simple to me. But trashing my coach and program ain’t my idea of being a UK fan.

The problem is, the same handful of accounts (didn't say posters because I think some of these guys are the same person with multiple accounts) ruining every single thread with pope hate comments. Doesn't matter if it's a football, basketball, volleyball thread. Every single thread. It's not stating your opinion at that point, it's intentionally done with sole purpose of triggering negativity and ruining every single thread. It was beyond old months ago. I rarely post here anymore, get so tired of seeing the same accounts post the same thing over and over and over again
