I always have to laugh at all of the experts that feel they can project what another player might be thinking about doing, such as transferring. It's sad that they don't understand that some players with fewer minutes, may love their teammates and Iowa and being part of a team.

We haven't seen anything yet because the season hasn't started. Let's play a few games and then we'll form an opinion.
Just going off the end of last season.
Your suggestion to "play a few games" is inspiring!
There was a reason an undersized HS had to play the 5 when AH got in foul trouble.

My question is what does anyone see in Hayes to think she's making a big jump?

Slow, limited on defense, and horrible shooting FTs.
I fully expect her to bring more to the team than you bring to this board - OK that's not fair, even if she doesn't play and is a good teammate she'll add more than you will.

Personally, I think she played quite well, considering it was her 1st yr after playing in Alaska. Year 2 should be better and yr 3 better yet. She is also a fantastic young lady and great teammate.

So, you're saying she's going to contribute more than JadaG?

It is unfortunate that individual players sometimes don’t live up to a particular fan’s wishful thinking. After all no scholarship is awarded in exchange for a guaranteed level of play! ( I admit Caitlin Clark sometimes disappointed me.) Who is at fault in such an instance, the player for being human or the critic for expecting too much of an 18 year old?

Thanks, I agree, information a lot of posters here should understand but I doubt that they will!
