Frankly, I become a Columbia fan as it was proposed by Monticello to expand from 256 to 384.

I'm sure it will change but Rita vs GW rematch in 2nd round and a Rice vs ESL Quarterfinal - hmm.
Yea a #7/#10 Brother Rice v ESL matchup in the quarterfinal is what everyone wants...

Edit: it would actually be a round of 16 matchup so not even in the quarters.

Love that you do this.

You have Lakes in the south bracket in 5A. I'm pretty confident they will not be going south since they can spit to the north and it lands in Wisconsin.

My geography would then have Corliss or possibly Hinsdale South going down to the south with Lakes being in the north.

St. Laurence is 7A
Wow that is going to be ugly for Larry - but I think they would need to win at least one more game correct? 2-7 would not get in? If they miss playoffs at 2-7 I'd say the football program still has a ways to go

IC most likely gets #3 at 8-1. Byron moves to #2, RB to #1. That should have Byron hosting IC for the bracket semi
You are correct with the seeds. However, that would mean that Byron and IC would play in the quarters, not the semi's. # 2 and # 3 are on the same side of the bracket and the winner would likely play RB in the semi's.

It’s geographically set.

That’s what I thought too. However, MOB and the Sun Times seem to think STL would get in with 2 wins. I’m hoping for 3 just for insurance. Would be tough for the Vikes to compete with a few of the big boys in 7A but I def think they could hold their own a lot of teams. Seeding is huge. BR (2 losses) and ESL (1 loss) could see each other early depending on how things shake out.

A late run would be great for this young Viking team with most coming back next year.
