Rest of the season trajectory

As bad as Iowa played Saturday it could have easily been a 10-6 game at halftime and then who knows what might have been in the second half. OSU scored with seconds remaining before halftime after Iowa's offense once again turned over the ball on downs.

Iowa had some careless uncharacteristic mistakes but I don't really think they played all that poorly. Heck, not only could it easily have been 10-6 at halftime, it could have been 13-10 and we head into half with the lead and the momentum. That procedure penalty was brutal. Without it, Iowa had a 1st and 10 at OSU's 45 yard line and we were moving the ball.

And this board is a **** show right now. Why don't some of you clown and nub fans pretending to be Iowa fans take a hike. No one is buying it. what a sad existence. Iowa is not going 6-6 this year.

My prediction. Iowa loses this weekend as the west coast just isn't our thing. After that, we win out. 10-2 here we come.

This is not ridiculous. We have zero run game, terrible QB play and D line can’t get any pressure. Washington, Minnesota Wisconsin and Nebraska games could all easily be losses.

I mean, anything is possible, and the odds of them winning all of these games isn't great, but I'd put the odds of losing all of them even lower. Iowa isn't that bad, and none of these teams are that great. Wisconsin and Nebraska are both home games and neither one has beaten anyone with a pulse yet. Minnesota probably has the best resume in the group and they got destroyed by Mississippi State at home. Washington has looked very beatable and has a close call vs a bad Utah St team and a loss to Minnie at home this year.

BTW, does your Driftless moniker refer to the Driftless Area?

People are always overly optimistic (every single year I see a bunch of "this could be a special season" posts) and then lose it when the team loses to one of the top teams in the nation.

We saw that potential Saturday. Men vs boys, very very lucky not 2-3. Could lose to everyone of the teams coming up. Will not beat them all. Just not that good.
