Why does he never stick with a team? What franchise has improved at the QB position after sending him down the road?
Well, he was with Washington and Minnesota for 6 years each before going to Atlanta. Alex Smith replaced him in Washington and Sam Darnold in Minnesota. As with most things, and I haven't looked this up, it probably came down to money. Why does he never stick with a team? What franchise has improved at the QB position after sending him down the road?
That happens in MinnesotaDarnold was pretty good before he broke his butthole
There’s only a handful of dual threat QBs in the NFL. That has very little to do with it.I’d say most of it isn’t his choice. But he’s a good QB. Maybe one of these stupid teams should have committed to him.
I guess it’s because he’s not MuH dUaL tHrEaT!!!111
Couldn’t come to an agreement with Washington and signed with Minnesota for a lot of money. Had great seasons until he tore his Achilles. Signed with Atlanta and pretty much sucked. Threw a ton of interceptions. Now he’s playing as a mentor for Mendoza for less money. Why does he never stick with a team? Kirk Cousins isn’t ever going to be in Canton, but he’s a LEGEND down at the bankI'm not feeling sorry for him. In his career he's made over $340 million with 99% of that guaranteed.
He stuck with 2 different teams for awhile. Why does he never stick with a team? What franchise has improved at the QB position after sending him down the road?
This makes me laugh. Not your comment, but that teams that have a good nfl qb, but are convinced it’s easier to win by rolling the dice on the hardest position in the league to replace. I don’t think any team that parted ways with him has done better replacing him. Maybe they did better financially by getting a cheap rookie QB, I don’t know.He stuck with 2 different teams for awhile.
Both moved on when the sample size became sufficient enough to suggest he’d never lead either of them to a SB without a hell of a lot of help and luck, so he essentially couldn’t keep his performance up to par with the ever increasing price tag of QB’s in the NFL.
It will be an upgrade. Penix was great last week, even though it was the Packers. Cousins played his way out of the Atlanta job.The Falcons replaced him with Penix and you see how good that worked out.
I think the Vikings have certainly upgraded. Darnold was pretty good for them when McCarthey went down. Last year proved that McCarthey sucked so they went and got Murray. This makes me laugh. Washington took a long time but eventually found their guy in Daniels.
Agree. My concern for K1 (and Daniels who has a more slight build) is that they'll end up like RGIII who as a rookie in 2012 was spectacular to the tune of 3,200 passing yards, 20 TDs against only 5 interceptions, plus 815 rushing yards and 7 rushing TDs. Washington built an offense around read option concepts that forced defenses to account for him as a runner. But knee injuries, especially the ACL/LCL damage, changed his career trajectory dramatically.I think Daniels is on his way to washing out of the league in a couple more years. He had one solid year but injury bug seems to be one he's probably not gonna overcome.
