One of the issues with Louisville is their schedule. I think college football fans see them as a somewhat respectful program but one that always fails to take the next step. They get one big game at the start of every season, usually against an SEC team...and they lose. Then the rest of their games consists of teams like NC ST, Stanford, Syracuse, GA Tech, and Pitt. Nobody cares about or wants to watch those teams. A&M was vastly overrated but they're a name and if they're getting dominated by say, us, people tune in. Louisville gets a couple shots every year and most years they just fail. Stein meanwhile, is a younger, excitable quote machine. Oh, and the Brohm family being Jefferson County legends doesn't exactly resonate around the country.
