Why didn't Beamer call TO before the UK two point conversion?

It wouldn't have mattered with our secondary. IE: going over assignments.

And, I genuinely think he was probably in shock they scored and had that "here we go again" sinking feeling like the rest of us and forgot all about the timeout. (Yes, I'm still pissed but I'm typing what I really think happened there.)

Beamer's explanation was the UK offense looked discombobulated and he didn't want to bail them out. No, our defense was discombobulated and needed to go over their assignments. Plus UK had a TO so there was no bailing them out.
First thing I’ve seen from the lawman that made a lick of sense.

There’s still a good many that like Beamer, including ones that make the decisions. The good thing is that he will learn from these experiences, although I agree; we were the ones discombobulated. I don’t think these guys are talking to each other out there like they should be, and we definitely should have called a TO to get our feet under us if nothing else.

he should have called a time out, then look at the offensive set by UK, then discuss with the defense. I attended the game, I will admit, I have grown numb to this stuff with Beamer.

To me their offense was like this what we are going to do, and you cant stop it. Their QB ran out there holding 2 fingers up and they executed. kentucky played with swag deserved the win.
At least the Panthers beat the lions tonight. This weekend isnt a loss.

Speaking of making a lick of sense-explain to me how you can dog on Lou as ruining our offense his last three years as some kind of trainwreck in one thread, yet endlessly defend Beamer to this day-who has accomplished much less here in 6 seasons other than a few upset victories over UT and Clemson? And Shane has done less working with more talent than Lou. 1 SEC win in Shane's last 11 SEC games.

Not sure what Beamer saw. Literally at the snap our defenders are still trying to figure out who to cover. One player just stood there and watched the receiver run past him and make the 2 point catch. Just another breakdown in the secondary.

Given the situation, the TO should have been called the instant he saw several players standing around pointing and arguing over who had who.

But he'll learn. Hes young. He really likes it here. In 3 or 4 more years, he may just learn to be a decent coach.

In my opinion, Shane Beamer is immature and does not have control of his emotions and he simply got lost in the moment.

One has to assume Beamer has the coordinators in his ear. Surely White could have told him if he wanted a TO.

Way too late for Beamer to learn anything that will make a difference!

As i watched i thought the same exact thing!! That was the game winning or game losing play!! One play for all the marbles, I would make sure the defense was 100% ready, I too, do not think it would have mettered, the "D" couldnt stop them the whole second half, but at least would have been a bit more prepared!!

Isn't White not just the DC but also assistant HC? (I know, who isn't?) If Beamer doesn't allow White the ability to call timeout while Beamer stands there clapping, well...

This one still irks me. There is no reasonable explanation for him not calling timeout in that situation. Both teams get one timeout per OT. I think it's best to employ the WWSD principle to those types of decisions. What Would Saban Do? The GOAT would have called TIMEOUT. Period.

Vicari Swain: Confirms Rodriguez was his man on the 2-point conversion.

Lack of communication was the culprit. They continue to work on it.
