Kenny Darby sets Freshmen Record

[MidseasonTweak]

He's a special young man. Looks like a college vet out there

[kyhankypanky]

Made some tough catches in traffic...took some hits...showed a lot of grit to match his flash. Could be our best WR since Cobb/Robinson/Bowden although those guys were more athletes and probably less pure WRs, at least it's debatable.

[Cowtown Cat]

Should’ve been thirteen catches.

Damn the boy getting it done!

Facts. Highway robbery.

Darby had a nice assortment of garnet paint and grass stains working on that jersey tonight. Feed that stud all he can eat.

Yep. Got hosed on that one.

He's very impressive, for sure !! I assume he is receiving $10,000, if not $20,000, a game ... he is certainly worth it. He's a real difference-maker !!

The problem is now after the season is over we got to keep him from being poached by another school because the NIL nonsense

Cobb became a pure receiver by the end and his pro career, but I agree he was just a football player.

Gotta pay him. He’s a stud you pay bottom line.

YES !! ... That is simply the way the game is played now ... no question !! His worth is being determined by every catch and play he makes ...

We already have the WR we need. No need to go pay or recruit another. Find him help of course, but don’t let him leave!

18 targets. Got rocked a couple times. Anderson had 5 catches. Need another wr to get in the action. Hopefully Miller can get back so Minchey doesn’t become too dependent on one wr. Willie got 5 to help. Big Boyer with another huge reception. I’d like to see Skinner start getting some targets. Seems really fast for a big guy

Baxter has made a few key plays catching the ball as well.
