I hear that Mark Stoops is available.Classy move by stein trying to talk up Beamer. He didn’t have to do that.
SC is about like AnM…they really think they’re something that they’re not but have a hell of a stadium atmosphere.
Who the hell do they think they’re going to get?
They’ve had both Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier.Classy move by stein trying to talk up Beamer. He didn’t have to do that.

The way that one fan talked on X, he looked like he ran a SC sports show or something. He acted like it was impossible to lose to us. How could we possibly beat them?! Like we haven’t even with Stoops. So many SEC programs like that. Football is big, but not everyone is Bama or Georgia or Texas. The best quote I've heard about South Carolina fans. "Alabama fan mentality. Vanderbilt trophy case."
Sigh. Just seek help, several of you.His corny mannerisms remind me of Pope.
Yea, he's a much bigger jerk than Kiffin. LMAO.I think Beamer is goofy but I've never disliked him. Only coach i can say I dislike and want to beat this year more than the team itself is Sumrall. I just don't like his demeanor. Hope we kick his ***.
Kiffin is at least low key hilarious. Beamer is just a jack ***.Yea, he's a much bigger jerk than Kiffin. LMAO.
I lived in Columbia while on active duty when Spurrier was the coach there. The fans acted like they were one of Spurrier's dominant Florida teams....and they certainly were not.The best quote I've heard about South Carolina fans. "Alabama fan mentality. Vanderbilt trophy case."

Stein so far has seemed calm swaggy and modern. Sumrall seems like a pissed off drill instructor that can do no wrong. Other words a ahole. His demeanor is a lot like Stein…
Exactly how I feel. Seems like a good man.I’ve never met him and maybe I’ve gotten soft as I’ve gotten older, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Shane Beemer and his approach to coaching college football. Hope he gets to stick around. Appreciated what his ol’ man did while at VT too.
I disagree. Both have swag. Stein is anything but calm at times, and that’s the way he should be. Those dudes are both stone cold killers. Sumrall is all of those things you said about Stein. They got exposed against Mizzou about like we did vs Bama. I think both are extremely unwavering because they have complete belief in what they do. Stein probably has a touch more humility. But hell, I don’t blame Sumrall for not being humble. Hell, he put freaking Tulane in the CFP last year.Stein so far has seemed calm swaggy and modern. Sumrall seems like a pissed off drill instructor that can do no wrong. Other words a ahole.
Only similarity I see between them is they are both confident. Styles are completely different. I'm only talking about their coaching style. Not them in their personal life.
I agree. I don’t mind him at all. I like the dudes with personality. He’s got that. I get tired of all the buttoned up robots. Show some passion and fire.Exactly how I feel. Seems like a good man.
