Are we going with Puckett and Kolin Wilson at LSU?

1. Is Swann that bad of a QB that a walk-on is ahead of him? If it is a Turf Toe, If KT does play he will be statue.

2. Our OL had zero push against BAMA, LSU may be better up front. If Fluff is out, Hill may the only RB capable of making his only running lane.

3. We have to find some LB’s . Smith’s Injury appeared to be season ending, I don’t think Tillman plays this season. That leaves us with maybe 4 left on the roster. We may have to go to a 4-2-5 or have some safeties playing LB.

Hopefully we figure out some things this off week. We will see how good of coaches we have. Thank goodness for the bye week.

Issac Smith is much more useful as an LB. He has no biz covering anyone on Pass routes. We are losing key players. That’s the theme sadly. Our back ups are tiny.

For weeks we heard the talking heads of the homeboy media brigade say “if we can stay healthy”. When has a football team at any level stayed healthy? What team hasn’t lost key players during a season?

I took both of those injuries as there’s a pretty good chance they would be able to give it a go in Baton Rouge in two weeks.

Fluff’s deal sounds like he thought he could go but wasn’t quite ready after hurting it against Mizzou. In two weeks it seems reasonable he’d be in a better spot to try and play, though that’s not a given and he could be limited.

I interpreted the Kamario situation as he’s able to play on it now but there’s no point in risking anything with us down 4 TD’s. Seemed more precautionary to me.

If you made me bet on it I think they both play at LSU, but they may still be showing the effects of it all.

They’re is zero doubt both KT & Fluff will
Play at lsu. They may not be 100% but they’ll be better than today.

Well you had a statute at QB Saturday especially after the pick 6. I'd play Puckett. Because State isn't winning at LSU regardless. But you know Taylor will play v LSU.

Fluff... you have a few more options at RB than at QB. So I'd go rb by committee for lsu. State really needs a healthy Fluff for OU.

To your first point, what about Rashada? Same situation as Kro-Hawk last year. Our transfer QB's must really suck.

You would lose the team if you had played Puckett vs LSU. They would have zero confidence in you going forward.

I'm assuming Taylor really has a hammy, ankle and turf toe as State fans have excused.

If he is truly that banged up, I think players would respect that decision.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I sure wish we had sat K1 and Fluff this game and just let big cat from puckett machinery go out there and take the beating. I was screaming for Hill to be given a chance during the first half. Pointless in the fourth. All hope was lost 7 minutes into the 2nd half for me

I just know I’m really glad we don’t have a game this week. I know it’s a cliche to say your team needs a bye week but there’s never been a team that needed one more than this one does.

Good thing you’re not our coach. Cause you just told 110 players including KT & Fluff that you have no confidence in them. You play to win the game. And if your coach doesn’t believe you can win you’ve got the wrong coach. And as bad as it was, if we just eliminate the mistakes, we’re in this game going into the 4th quarter.

Alabama was going to win that game no matter what they're just better, but it's probably a two score game if we're healthy.

I want my players healthy for LSU. Taking an extra week at the bye would be huge. We will see if they are ready to play LSU. Without them 100% we lose. My team doctor would have suggested it. More than one way to skin a cat.

And you would have had a team quit on you. That sounds great. Let’s get everyone healthy for this game. But it just doesn't work that way. You try to win the game in front of you. And if your starters can play, they’re gonna play.

We kinda pulled some similar garbage with how we handled Tutorgate. It didn’t work

I dont think you are correct. Sounds good tho, coach. When a guy is wearing a boot all week plus running a fever I'm pretty sure all his team mates know he is pushing thru and probly needs to sit. The players aren't stupid or that fragile

Players play through what KT played through yesterday every week. And the fact is he still had 258 yards passing (almost 8 yards per attempt) & 3 touchdowns and a 1st down in his only rushing attempt.

It's a day game in Baton Rouge . I think (just me) in the age of NIL football that even the most talented teams will inexplicably have games where they just don't show up . IMO you play every player who's ready to suit up and play . I.E. you play to win this game !

Sure. He was great. Im sure the players dont even know how many games are left. So was he injured or not ? You cant claim he played bad in one post because he was injured but claim in another post he played good and wasnt really injured.

If it's turf toe he will battle it all season. He has orthopedics motivated to get him 100%, but in my experience it's an injury that takes time to heal and can easily be reaggravated.

Can you read **** **** ?? Do you comprehend sentences. Dude is playing hurt which according to his own coach caused a lot of his issues. Yeah we have a bye week but an extra week would be invaluable. Will he be healed or still gimped up ? Fluff was held out. Without those 2 none of it matters loser
