At my age I just hope I live long enough to see a victory over Alabama again.

Since I'm in my 40s.

[FlotownDawg]

I’ve given up hope that I’ll ever see it. I just hope my kids will live to see it.

Same here, and we’ve only beaten them 6 times since I’ve been alive. I was at the 1998 game, and it’s still a core memory. What a time to be alive.

Same.

[Willow Grove Dawg]

I would prefer that we just not play them regularly

[POTUS]

We beat them 3 times out of 4 1997-2000.

[Maroon13]

State beat Alabama in 1957 and not again until 1980. Longest drought.

4 out of 5, 96-00

Dear sweet baby Jesus, we lift up our 6Pack brothers in our prayers, please keep them alive til next year. AMEN

[Maroon13]

They fired Stallings after 1996. Then went into a minor tailspin with a ncaa investigation mixed in.

Then We had a Coach that knew how to play with them. Defense and a physical pounding run game. Hadad mentioned today the scores as of the past few years against them. Well, we had finesse coaches and offenses.

When State gets a lot more physical and can run AND Bama has a down season....... then State can pull off an upset.

You will see many of them. In beisbol...

My cousin is not likely to help. I am the sports guy in the family.

Oh you mean in games I care nothing about? Wonderful.

Since I'm in my 40s.

I’m older than you. At this point I’d just rather not play them.

Most of the incoming freshmen this year haven't been alive for a victory over Alabama
