Caitlin Clark is Guest Picker on ESPN GAME DAY

Did the WNBA have anything to do with CC becoming available on short notice?
Great choice, but also makes total sense with her shoe drop going on right next to the GameDay booth. Great synergy in Iowa City this Saturday.
Lucky for her, she makes over $16 MILLION in endorsements per year; I am sure that helps when it comes to all of the BS she has to deal with while playing in the WNBA
i hope they announce total shoe sales over the 3 to 4 days
interesting, too, that only 2 of the colors are out when they have so many others
She get that tooth fixed yet?
It'd be fitting for the WNBA and the football game if she showed up missing a tooth from a play, that not only wasn't called in real time but then wasn't even reviewed. She can be like, look, I'm football tough!
Well they better get what they can off those trucks in Iowa City. Sounds like their already about sold out in stores around the country.
Any takers on who she picks for the B1G game? GO Hawks by a million!
Yes.
Nike agent: "So yeah, Caitlin, we respect your feelings. Connor didn't give you a multimillion dollar shoe deal. We don't give a f*** what he wants."
Ultimate heel turn move, she picks Ohio State.
That would a more earth-shattering heel turn than Seth Rollins turning on The Shield, John Cena turning on pro wrestling and Cody Rhodes and Shawn Michaels turning on Marty Janetty.......
She could make those endorsements without the WNBA. They need her more than she needs them…
Nike going to pay her all that money to wear her shoes at home?
But not as shocking as Kofi and Woods turning on Big E
Nike gonna pay her all that money to go play in leagues that no one watches bc the games are at 4am?
She's not going to let these clowns win and drive her from the one thing she's dreamed about since she was little......In the next few years many of the old guard will be gone both in the W, and team USA......
returnsNike the company is sucking ballz right now though. Takeover target now for sure.
I honestly don't think anyone tells CC what to do......Well she is done playing right now iirc. Didnt they lose the final game 3 of their playoff series?
Think he made the trip with her?
As someone who has been in the marketing profession for longer than many of you have been in the "being alive" profession, this is what Ol' Doodle calls a perfect storm, can't miss opportunity.
she looks great on tv , has a career waiting for her after bball. Pat macafeee ruined the segment by being a clown
That's standard MO for McAfee , no one should be surprised. ESPN is self sabotaging by blasting his garbage everywhere under the sun imo.
As a fellow 39 year old, wtf is that guy doing? I'm not going to say "act your age" but who is he appealing to? Dipshits across the country?
I am close to 60 and i like his show and his style… just not that time for that segment . He usually is kind to the hawks and especially the ones he played with on the colts. He interviewed KF last nite it was good. He just should not have been a clown on that segment. Oh well.
The WNBA continues to be run like a pathetic rec league.
No Iowa gear for CC. Thanks for representing. I have so much CC fatigue its unreal.
It almost became a bigger joke this year, maybe because all eyes were on them thanks to CC
