Just as Hamlet had a single tragic flaw, and I honestly can’t remember what it was, so does Indiana. They can’t stop the passing game. Last week, Northwestern’s Aidan Chiles exploded for 293 passing yards and 2 touchdowns and no interceptions in a 29-23 loss to Indiana. Rutgers Dylan Lonergan was similarly productive against USC throwing for 252 yards and 3 TDS, but also had a dreadful 2 interceptions. One of which was a pick 6, which ended up being the difference in the game. Dylan will need to be productive and accurate, if we are to beat Indiana.

Getting back to the Northwestern- Indiana Game,
140 of those passing yards went to a single receiver, TE Luke Dehnicke. And it just so happens Rutgers has a similarly large receiver in 6’6” Korey Duff, who is currently putting up All American numbers, and is currently the #4 receiver in the country in terms of receiving yards with an average of 137.5 receiving yards per game. At his current pace , he will eclipse Kenny Britt’s school record of 1,371 receiving yards, and end up with 1,650 total. Thus Rutgers is uniquely qualified to exploit Indiana’s biggest weakness. Korey won’t have to do it alone. He will have help as Indiana will do its best to take away Korey, by shading coverage towards his side. Rutgers has ample complements. Slot Jourdain Houston is the #2 receiver on the year with 159 receiving yards. Ben Black has 127 receiving yards to go along with a TD. Reserve receivers could also have a big impact on the game. Elias Coke, who might replace Duff, when he leaves, had a nice 16 yard TD grab vs USC. Vernon Allen III also had a key TD grab against USC, of 28 yards. Antwan Raymond, who had 39 receiving yards against USC against USC, also figures to be a target against Indiana.

Unlike Northwestern, Rutgers passing game is nicely complemented by a powerful running game. Antwan Raymond, the #8 rusher in the country, has been averaging 109.5 rushing yards per game. He is nicely complemented by Clay Thevinin who seems to see significant action in short yardage situations. I would also expect to see freshman Aidan Gibson, a huge powerful back, who saw significant action against Howard.

The powerful passing game and running game helps Rutgers defeat Indiana straight up. I think the final toll is Rutgers 52 Indiana 49 in a high scoring game. You probably noticed I didn’t mention the defense. We’re not playing defense this year. Our way to victory is to score, score, score.
A simpler approach would be if their team was served chicken tartare or Taco Bell lettuce as their pre-game day meal.

Even though that is unlikely to happen to change the odds we still have a 6% chance of winning based on the current odds. So our chances of winning isn’t zero.

A Rutgers win also has the advantage of being the most interesting outcome as it would turn discussions about Indiana’s season and Rutgers season upside down. The football Gods might need to intervene on this one for that to happen.

We don’t need football Gods. All we need is to stay away from turnovers. We can beat Indiana straight up.

Because Greggy has an NFL Pipeline. Look at Kyle Monangai’s success. Right now the most valuable asset we can offer prospective players is an opportunity to play. It sure isn’t NIL amounts, nice campus, or nice facilities. When kids come to Rutgers, they are choosing Greg because he is going to get the most out them. Everything else is secondary.
He got them to lose to UMass. There is no calculus where you can spin Greggo into a decent coach. It doesn’t exist.

Money isn't a problem anymore.

@rutgersal_rivals139582 confirms Rutgers has provided Schiano with sufficient funds to beat Indiana.

I look forward to quoting this when anyone ever tried to say "Rutgers never had a chance against Big Ten Team X. Money money money!"

Money has never been “the” problem. Been saying for 3+ years. It’s an allocation problem. Not a spending problem.

We have an opportunity, not a guarantee.
It took us 5 games and 3 losses to get to this point. Had we had a fanbase that properly ponied up, and gotten us a QB that was ready to go, from game 1, like UVA’s Beau Pribula, we’d be 4-0. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears has brought us to this point. Our guy has flaws, but at least he gives us a chance. A better qb would have given us a better chance.

Only because you’re clueless. I know Miami’s talent and Rutgers talent much better than you.
Miami’s talent is better, no doubt. But Rutgers talent is good enough to be effective.

So yes, We need to pass block and run block as well as Miami last year, to be successful. Our OL is getting better every game, and they proved against USC, which had superstar Wafle, that they could get the job done. Indianas line isn’t as talented as USC’s, which is why they have to blitz to bring pressure.

Let’s face it, should Rutgers Win, you’re afraid that all the nonsense about Schiano being fired and Kelly being hired, will have been for naught. That’s what’s really driving you here.
Wrong.

That's what happens when he's in desperation mode. He eventually admits his past gaslighting wasn't the case in order to keep defending the current theme he's trying to push.

He murders himself repeatedly. He's an attorney's wet dream with his inability to stay on script. Only his ego and ignorance don't allow him to see it.

He spins his narrative SO OFTEN he gets lost in his own web of ********.

Greg Schiano is the best coach Rutgers is capable of landing. He’s the only one that’s won 100 games.

Typewiters, Cassette Tapes, VCRs, Dial Up internet and land line phones are the best we'll ever do. Certainly no need to innovate and improve.

You're really just trolling the board with spam at this point....admit it.

It’s a continued breakdown in evaluation of incoming talent. Money has been wasted the last 2 years by Schiano by bringing in non B1G level players. Combined with horrendous Coaching the result is a 2 or 3 win season at best.

UMass and ALL THOSE P4 TRANSFERS going down to E. Michigan.

Didn't someone ignorant tell us endlessly that UMass had better portal transfers than RU? 🤡 🤣 🤡
UMass had played the 225th or so “best schedule” in the nation coming into today. ANYONE with a clue saw this coming and I’ve been pointing it out all week long!!!

Yea your 20 years of estimating experience ( whatever that means) lets you detect that Iowa and Illinois are low and Rutgers is high. Interesting you don’t have anyone else anywhere stating the same things. And comparing Iowa spending to wisconsins also shows your lack of understanding how many athletic departments run. Wisconsin has always spent considerably more than Illinois and Iowa. They have very different alumni base as well. Actually you have people saying Rutgers is low on that report. Rutgers estimates through internal reports is 25-30 mm. But yea. Keep trolling.
Man, my mama told me a long time ago to never argue with f_ _ls. A couple of weeks ago I finally took her advise. Has worked wonder my BP is down
