Pitt getting it done with the backup qb.

35-21 Pitt…tempo for Pitt while VT wasn’t ready got them.

Pitt came out shell shocked but what a bounce back as the game went on

They convert the 4th down to the Pitt 30…38 secs left and around the Pitt 20…not looking good for Pitt

VT misses the 35yd FG and Pitt escapes with a win

That wasn't easy to tell if it was good or not

I still think it was a solid choice but obviously it’s tough sledding right now. Have to see how the rest of the year and succeeding years go but of course there won’t be any patience in a job like that.

Even though, I like Campbell as a coach you can’t know for sure when coaches make a step up or change locations. Whittingham is also not running smoothly yet at Michigan even though he was successful at Utah. Both are still early in their tenures so have to wait and see even if their fanbases won’t have any patience.

What’s unfortunate is that if these teams are really down or if the B10 is down that we can’t take advantage of it with a better than expected really good year.

he should have said it's your fault, the writers and voters and that no voting should take place until after the 4th week. At that point, you get to see how the teams look. The problem is the rankings are sticky so he should have hammered her on that

I usually agree with you but disagree on the choice. Seemed like settling.
But I do agree it's too early to conclude the hire is a failure.

They ended up with him late because of miscommunication in contacting him but he was one of their first choices.

After that, they were all over the place before trying him again.

NW still has Iowa, Oregon and OSU on the schedule but could be an 8 win season if they keep playing like they have the last two weeks.

In a 24 team playoff, that could potentially get them in. That’s a big reason I like the expansion, it would be a great goal to reach for a program like that.

I find a positive correlation between people who actually watch college football and want a 24 team playoff.
