He can be erratic often walking the line between really good play and really bad play. It’s a matter of whether Kelly can push him more towards the good side than the bad…at MSU he was fairly mistake prone.

He had his own team in UCLA and left to be OC at OSU. He doesn’t want to do the extraneous non football things that HCs have to do.

No but I read enough and listen to enough CFB media to gauge it.
If a NFL HC opportunity ever came again by some chance I think he would do that but CFB HC where he has to do things like recruiting or gladhanding donors etc..don’t think he has any desire to do that stuff.
