It’s a shame indeed - too much emphasis on “production” and it fell flat. They should rethink this for next year. I want to see the MENS team. Not apologizing for being an old fart and remembering when we were one of the few schools that highlighted first day of practice. Used to be special and exciting.

Wilkins nailed the threes
Impressed by uzi’s shooting form
It's sad that it's a Friday night I had nothing to do at all but hang out with the kiddos and didn't turn on madness one second.
If someone post the youtube replay I might watch it and fast forward to the men's but it's just bad timing to do this on top of the lack of excitement. I can't wait to be pumped up about basketball again. It's not happening anytime soon tho.

Pope actin like he just binged GTA 6 beta version with way too much cornbread hemp...
Pope probably thinks getting high is like poisoning your soul and that the smoke is actually made up of little tiny demons or something.
Why don’t we have a full contact scrimmage and get 3-4 players hurt. Some of you are just pure dumb asses.
I'm sure he's feeling the pressure. It would be sad if the man actually had to start drinking a little just to ease the vibes.
What sucks is i don't want to keep being mean to Pope but his product just isn't gonna get it done. I hate thinking about him failing here. I would rather him win here than anybody but we all see it.
Zyon Hawthorne looks like one of the trainers who does their laundry who they just let put on a uniform and shoot around tonight.
Literally no other program is taking these ridiculous precautions.
Remember when we had John Wall?
I bet if we had John Wall out there tonight he would win this slam dunk contest.
i think the public relations dude steering the dunk contest scores needs to go. why select the kid if you are not going to let him.....
Next year I heard it's being switched to a lay up contest. Trying to keep players fresh.
Why don't we just not have a season all together. Players could get hurt.
I mean they practice all the time. Obviously we are dealing with injuries here but the odds of injury here is minimal lol.
Next season UK should replace Big Blue Madness with a doubleheader. Women and Men play Athletes in Action.
Holy **** his head almost hit the net.
Lol.. I forgot all about it.. First time in 36 years didn't watch..
What's crazy is that would usually be the Greek freaks brother to get a spot like that. Or LeBrons son. But to sign a player to keep another player that wasn't even good enough to break the rotation last year is beyond anything crazy i can even think to say.
