The point is; we are not talking about a school with 18+ DI kids Vs a school with 0 or 1. When both schools have top talent and double digit kids playing FBS/FCS the margin of talent is much smaller. If it is a "who's is bigger contest" MC wins but that is not how results in football happen.

Agreed. I always felt its now about the # of recruited kids, but whether you have kids with enough size/skill to not be physically outmatched. If so, game on. Otherwise we could just count offers and award a winner.

As much as I'd like to see LWE take state, I still think MC will hit their stride and win it again. Way too much talent, and Lynch knows how to win. I don't think LWE or Loyola will be able to get past them in the playoffs. Hope I'm wrong.

Doubt it. I agree they probably want to keep it on the low, though. But if MC has enough sway to dictate what can and can’t be posted on a message board, God help us.

Plantz is a good coach, and I think he’ll have MC’s defense motivated and back on track. As much as I’d like to see PC win, they did him dirty, so part of me hopes he gets a little payback.

Maybe Holecek is superior to Lynch, but there are no ties, so 3-2 is as close as it possibly could be.

It’s actually Lynch up 3-2. Yes, as close as can be. Just pointing out that MC would be favored because of their talent, not because Lynch has a “knows how to win” edge.
