Pope is the only coach I've ever seen whiff on assistants. Waited months just to give Crawford a chance and got blew off.
We went from a program that would never do any little league type of stuff like hire a players dad to literally holding an open spot just in case anybody comes along woth a high level son as a package deal. Pope just can't attract anybody to the program. I mean he has most of the fans disgusted. Much less recruits.
