It's interesting. The numbers say he's a tick better than last year. Completion % is up slightly. He's on pace for a bit more passing yards. His TD:INT is on pace to be down.

If we lose to UK and pull the plug on Beamer and install Briles, I wonder if he would make a switch to Cutter.

Remember how we used to sub Mike Hold at QB for Allen Mitchell and it worked extremely well.
Why not do the same with Sellers and Woods?

The OL seems better. Sellers has time to make some passes. Our receivers are not very good, so this is hurting him. Also, he does not have the field vision to see open receivers for some reason. He would do better to just take off and run more often. He could probably get 4 YPC.

The problem would be, he gets four yards when its third and 9....

It's been entertaining to watch: a QB who has a hard time hitting open receivers and receivers who drop it when he does. I guess the easy part is that either way, they both go down as an incompletion.

Is that skewed by how much we feasted on those two early game patsies? Meaning, we shouldn't keep this pace of offense up over the next 8 games?

It's just hard to believe that a guy that was picked to be the #4 or 5th quarterback to be picked in the draft has regressed this far by his third year of starting.
