Who tf was dumb enough to trust the 80 year old on the economy?
They still won't have the votes in the Senate to pass significant legislation, so the number one goal will be to implement checks and balances and gain subpoena power to investigate and shine a light on the absurd level of corruption of this administration, so no president will ever attempt to illegally enrich himself like this in the future. There must be consequences.let's say blue wins this november. what are the practical ways in which that would make a difference to people and the country for the next two years?

37.4 seems about 3-4pts too high. Boomer heavy poll. How popular is Donald Trump?

The latest on Trump’s approval rating
Updated September 28, 2026
Donald Trump has yet again hit an all-time approval rating low. As of today, his net approval is sitting at -22.4. This far into his first term, Trump was all the way up at -11.6, while Joe Biden was at net -9.6 at the same point in his presidency.
We also have a new post out on how gas (and diesel) prices are impacting Trump and Republicans more broadly. -EMD, 9/23/26

Sounds like you're leaning on the same mistake that Biden made ....telling people that despite what they are experiencing in their own lives, that the economy is actually good. No one is buying it when the main drivers of inflation and higher costs are solely attributable to one man's actions - actions that are the opposite of what he promised. The voters aren't that dumb.Maybe the economy is not as bad as you are hoping for, dic.
Sounds like you think voters are dumb enough to forget the CPI rose 21% under Biden/dems - not to mention the open borders, dei and other fiascos that came with it.Sounds like you're leaning on the same mistake that Biden made ....telling people that despite what they are experiencing in their own lives, that the economy is actually good. Do you think what happened four years ago will be the driver for how people vote or will it be what's happening now?Sounds like you think voters are dumb to forget the CPI rose 21% under Biden/dems - not to mention the open borders, dei and other fiascos that came with it.
I'm convinced. I won't vote for Biden.Sounds like you think voters are dumb enough to forget the CPI rose 21% under Biden/dems - not to mention the open borders, dei and other fiascos that came with it.
It was still happening two years ago.Do you think what happened four years ago will be the driver for how people vote or will it be what's happening now?
But LOL that you believe DEI is a scare word for most Americans - that's a maga boogeyman Rivet.
48% to 61% of Americans expressing support or viewing workplace DEI initiatives favorably, depending on the specific phrasing of the poll. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...ded-dei-programs-political-correct-rcna196377
Glad I could help you, because otherwise you are dense enough to have written in his name.I'm convinced. I won't vote for Biden.

I actually don't think voters remember because repubs are doing a lousy job campaigning to remind them so far. What was, the scary DEI demon that most Americans aren't concerned about or the border?

If you're talking about cumulative CPI, Trump had just a big a hand in it as Biden did but got to step away before suffering the consequences. More important was where inflation was when Trump took over.
Inflation was 2.9% in the last full month of Biden's term. It's 3.4% now
2.9 < 3.4
Gas was $3.12 when Biden left office. It's $4.41 now
3.12 < 4.41
Not the flex you thought it was. Voters know...
Maybe it's because Biden is no longer in power and has no control over anything?I actually don't think voters remember because repubs are doing a lousy job campaigning to remind them so far.
They were dem policies, not Biden's. He didn't understand what was happening.Maybe it's because Biden is no longer in power and has no control over anything?
Weak sauce.
How are they Dem policies? They were dem policies, not Biden's. He didn't understand what was happening.
I said they were dem policies during the Biden debacle, and repubs should be reminding voters of those horrible policies - some of which dem candidates and supporters still support. How are they Dem policies?
Ok, then it's also fair to claim that Republicans support Insurrections when they lose elections and pathological lying because they still support Trump.Call
