Sterling vs Geneseo: 61st meeting of these two rivals who have been playing each year since 1981. They have also done this neat thing where they follow each other to a new conference. And I am glad they have! This used to be a battle of who had the better rushing attack and rushing defense, but now it’s Geneseo rushing vs Sterling passing. I think Sterling has the edge in this one. Sterling 28 – Geneseo 21.

Galesburg vs Quincy: Im curious which Galesburg team will show for this one? The one that fell apart against Geneseo? Or the one that took Sterling to the brink? Im curious to find out. Quincy has been all offense and no defense the past two weeks against some of the stiffer competition on their schedule, so if the right Galesburg team shows up...possible upset? Quincy 46 –Galesburg 38.

United Township vs Rock Island: This one has the potential to light up the scoreboard, especially on the UT side. UT’s offense has really only been slowed down against teams that play good defense. Sadly for Rocky, they are not one of those teams. Rocky has been doing better at figuring out how to get into the endzone, but they have been letting opponents do it at double the rate. UT 49 – Rocky 24.

Moline has the week off as they did not find a replacement for Alleman.

I think the Galesburg- Quincy game has the better chance to light up the scoreboard because as you said Quincy has had no defense and Galesburg literally has no defense, if you throw out the Limestone game, they have given up an average of 48 points a game. Geneseo scored 58 on them and Sterling scored 63, that being said, Quincy is going to score at least 48 points, so the Galesburg team that showed up against Sterling is going to have to come out or their defense step up for once.
Quincy 58-42

UT over RI 48-24

The Sterling -Geneseo game, I'm changing my score to 28-21 Sterling, or If the defense shows up that played Meta and Moline 28-14

Quincy will be down their star RB as he tweaked his ankle last Friday. They have a couple of good backups but the way the Williams kid avoids tackles and hits the hole, it may be a record setting night for pass attempts.
