You’re right that Clark is a great player. But she certainly ain’t as good as Aja Wilson. Wilson is about to win her record 5th MVP and will likely one day be remembered as the greatest player ever. If it were just about merit, she’d easily be the most famous player in the word. But instead Clark is far more famous, gets far more media coverage, and is paid WAY more endorsement money than Wilson.

You are correct that A Wilson is a great player. so is Clark.
Clark and Cunningham are famous because they are fan favorites. And they are good ball players.
Maybe A Wilson is in her own right but these Fever players aren’t racist. To me the obvious envy and jealousy of their success is being rewarded by questionable calls and rough play by players who can’t do what Clark does at least. Bottom Line. Success breeds success and they have accomplished that.

The WNBA could've stopped so much of the negative attention weeks/months ago. All they need to do is what women's tennis, the IOC and the NCAA have done. But they haven't or won't.
