Guessing that you are unhappy today as you are rooting for Yankees to lose. Admit it.....you're now a Muts & Red Sux fan as all you do is bash the Yankees as a team as well as individual players etc.
Calm down on the one game reaction. The entire AL is awful, so nothing would surprise me just like in 2024.

Regardless, with Cashman, expect the worse and you will never be disappointed.

I realize the Yanks like to advance the pitch count, but Lombard took three straight called strikes RIGHT DOWN THE GUT.

Won't work vs Gray.
And Grisham...lazy azz sumbish!

I’ll tell ya what. The team we saw on offense over the last 2 days is completely different than what we saw most of the regular season. Power has been there, but so has contact, some small ball with bunts and stolen bases, decent fielding (though Grisham needs to show more urgency). Add in the starting pitching and the formula is there. Just go execute.

The mix of small ball and pop when they needed it has been encouraging to see. They executed well with 2 strikes and found ways to score a guy from 3rd with less than 2 outs. If they keep that same mentality and execute, they have a great shot to advance past the Rays.

O.K.
The Yankees just beat the Bosux two games to zero by a combined score of 18-2.
The haters can start with the criticism.

Still don't trust them against a good team, which they wouldn't play until the WS. Might be a redo of 2024. Take advantage of an awful AL and then get embarrassed by LA (or maybe the Brewers).

That's how Cashman rolls.

I don't generally obsess over things that are out of my control (i.e. focus on Cashman in essentially every post). Yankees have provided me with some great times and memories since childhood......much more than any other team I follow. While it may be just about the next destination for you ......its about both the journey and destination for me as a fan.

The Yanks spoiled me from the mid-90s to 2009. And more importantly, George spoiled me. It's time to win again, but I have no confidence in Hal or Cashman.

Lifelong NYY fan that doesn't appreciate some of the stupid shiit guys like Chisholm and Grisham do.

If you're a lifelong fan and were here during the 80's, early 90's and mid 2000's .....you've dealt with equal or worse than those 2. People seem to have selective memories. Jesse Barfield, Steve Kemp, Ed Whitson, Andy Hawkins, Ruben Sierra, Kei Igawa, Hideki Irabu, Danny Tardabull, Melido Perez.....and many more.

Wells...you dumb azz!
Out by 20 feet.

Why would you try that when you can score from 2nd on pretty much any hit with 2 outs????
As a team...not winning many games when you strike out 12X.
