I'm likely older than you, but this isn't the first time we've gone through these bond debacles, high interest/mortgage rates, declining stock markets...and it wont be the last.

this is a good time to relook investments....getting close to retirement? can lock in a near risk free 5.3% 10 year Treasury...

yea, that might be a little extreme...there have been some poor policy decisions, and some (hopefully) short term consequences...we have to wait and see the end result before determining how far anyone will go to save themselves.

Your party told me inflation was transitory at that time and redefined the word recession btw. How did that all work out for us?

That doesn't change the FACT that both were responding to pressures on gas prices caused by wars and the FACT that Trump was responsible for the war he was responding to.
