Not going to be able to call this one yet. A return to summer on Thursday and Friday with a mix of sun and clouds with temps approaching and possibly exceeding 80. However cooler weather for Saturday with highs around 70 and dropping through the 60s. Temp wise very similar to the past 2 home games. The question of course is will there be showers with a cold front moving through and its just too murky with the models to tell. Models indicate a stronger slug of rain for Sunday and early next week which will usher in really cool air with highs struggling in the low 60s even with sun the following week. Any earlier movement of the storm would impact Saturday. Any slower movement of the cooler air/ front would impact Saturday. Stay Tuned!

Maybe the weather will be bad enough to cancel the game? :)

Will see return to summer with sun returning and upper 70s on Wednesday. More clouds near 80 on Thursday. Beach day on Friday with mix of sun and clouds and highs in mid 80s.

Cautiously optimistic timing works out for tailgates and game. Sort of caught between weak cold front Friday night overnight and a shortwave moving along that stalled front late Saturday night into Sunday

In between some partly to mostly cloudy weather. Much cooler with highs in the low 70s dropping into the low to mid 60s for kickoff. Overall similar to previous 2 tailgates and kickoffs

Not a lock yet just have to watch any shifts as any earlier development of showers would impact the game

Confidence increasing for dry tailgates and game. Partly Cloudy low 70s during day with cloudy skies at night and temps in the low to mid 60s dropping into the upper 50s by games end

Still cannot rule out timeframe shift of a few hours which would introduce showers by games end.

My stupid app is still showing a 35% chance of rain on Saturday.
BacGpt said we should be fine.

Any shower chance should be done overnight Friday after a beautiful summer day in the mid 80s. Plenty of sun for early tailgates with highs around 70 but it will get chilly for game time (relative to what everyone has been used to ) if clouds dont arrive as we could get into some radiational cooling so maybe low 60s at kickoff dropping into the upper 50s during the game.

My App is no longer stupid. It's now showing dry all day Saturday. 70 degrees for the high so I'll tailgate in long pants and my Khaseem Greene blackout jersey. I'll bring an extra layer into the stadium.

All systems go. Partly sunny for early tailgaters with highs in the low 70s. Dry conditions continue later and for the game. For the main tailgate 5-8pm temps will fall through the 60s and may drop to low 60s by kickoff. Temps will through the 50s by games end. Definitely dress for the chill

Not participating in weather threads here anymore as the constant trolling has made them unpleasant and the mods simply won't do anything about it (like they used to in the past), so it's just not worth the aggravation anymore. I post weather info in about 6 different forums (including another RU sports site) and I have about 1000 people on my weather emails, so I have more than my fill of weather interactions (it's a lot of work to put together the posts/graphics and post them in so many places) and they're generally appreciated without trolling everywhere but here. If you like them, IM me for more info.

For the fairly simple gameday weather threads, even someone with limited weather knowledge, like bac, can probably handle it (although at about the same time he posted about it possibly being showery for the game, I had posted this: "Lock it up for a beautiful day and evening without any rain" so there is a difference in quality/timeliness), but for snowstorms and tropical systems, folks here won't get as good or timely info, IMO, which is kind of a shame, really. If that is an issue for some posters, I'd suggest saying something to Richie.

Good stay away. I stand by my forecast from 6 days out about waiting a bit until ruling out any showers

Its not a competition so its a rather childish post by you which isnt unusual since you are such a whiny biitch about moderation here

Im sure people will survive without your 30 day outlook for snowfall
