They made that game out to be the biggest game in the history of the sport of football and it took a grand total of seven days for reality to kick them in the teeth.
One doth not grumbleth towards Sir LaneI posted a thread about that a while back. There was very limited upside for them but unlimited downside. The opposite was true for LSU so Lane was wise to play it up. Next year, Lane has to win in BR or he'll get grumblings.
How great would it be to finish 10-2/9-3 and get the egg backIf Ole Miss would have lost to LSU - they would be more ready to fire Golding. We have a good shot of matching their win total this year if not beating it.
That's something the Ole Miss people do not and never will get, they haven't been considered a rival by LSU since desegregation. It's also worth noting Kiffen corrected the reporter when they made a mention of how big of a game it was for them. Kiffen corrected the reporter and it was a big game to ole miss. It was a game for LSU. Something to that extent. Kind of like how ole miss claims a "rival" with LSU as LSU claims the same with Alabama after Saban. It's one sided.
He was having a QB make two slightly more accurate throws from winning against a team that planned for the game an entire year. I think he'll smoke them next year, especially with no player named Trinidad on the field.I posted a thread about that a while back. There was very limited upside for them but unlimited downside. Was that when he commented about how the pressure was on them as a playoff team from last year and LSU had only won 7 the previous year, or something like that? It's also worth noting Kiffen corrected the reporter when they made a mention of how big of a game it was for them. Boy my social media feeds sure are a lot more tolerable this week. It went from "game of the century!!!!!!", "OMG the squarrrr" to absolute dead 17ing silence. And it is glorious. They made that game out to be the biggest game in the history of the sport of football and it took a grand total of seven days for reality to kick them in the teeth.
even those arseholes up there realize what’s really important
Kiffin was full of crap. It was a huge game for him, and as he does in the biggest games, he blew it.It's also worth noting Kiffen corrected the reporter when they made a mention of how big of a game it was for them. If LSU would have just ran the ball and kept Trindad out of the game they win handily. OM run defense was exposed against Louisville. Everyteam should follow suit against them.It was inevitable that both Ole Miss & LSU would absolutely lay a huge turd this past weekend after all the drama surrounding their game in Oxford. LSU just got lucky and played a completely inept A & M team at home.
Sumrall has exposed the Ole Miss defense. This Ole Miss team may go 8-4 or even 7-5.
Mine has told me, with a straight face, that all he wanted out of this season was to beat Lane.My OM buddy has gone silent this week.![]()
