Let's now consider actual changes that can be made from here on out:

Mine: Zayas on the field full time and Neal off the field full time.

Nnodim full time on the field.

33 to D end as the starter.

Cousins to center until Riker heals

Any others?

Who replaces Cousis at RG with Will Tompkins out for the season? Donnie Harbour, Kuola Kuola (who I think is also injured)?

They definitely can't ask Neal to cover in man-to-man. He's bad in coverage.

He's bad, period. Every single coach from now on is going his way when he's on the field. They tried hiding him all day and Wisconsin found him. If freaking Wisconsin is abusing you, you can bet your *** everyone else is going to copy that. Before you ask who is better, the answer is to leave 17 on the field at all times and accept the learning curve as a freshman, because the junior Neal is three years older and can't cover a wet paper bag

it's going to have to be Ta'Quan Roberson bad for that to happen
Well that looks like a more likely scenario after Saturday. Even Tengwall who proclaimed he was an upgrade over Allar preseason couldn’t defend his play on Saturday. I am not giving up on him yet but there were numerous aspects of his play which are not promising like locking onto his primary receiver; not throwing to open receivers in dump offs; going for a big play while rolling out on third and one instead of running for an easy first down and consistently under deep passes (perhaps in part due to his lack of arm strength). Let’s hope he plays better this Friday.

Don't forget about consistently eating the ball on sacks when he has an eternity to just get rid of the ball to avoid the loss (and stop the clock unlike what he did with less than 30 seconds remaining this past Saturday... he has made horrendous decisions like this in every single game this year - I posted that Campbell needed to sit him down and talk to him about it earlier in the year - I was quickly told how awesome and experienced Becht was by the know-it-alls. Taking the sack with under 25 seconds and a running clock forcing PSU to burn their final TO is so freaking bad and unawareness by Becht, it's beyond description. This on top of his gawd awful play - 12 of 29 for 114 yards (3.4 yards per attempt), 0 TDs and 1 INT..... missed 2 wide-open TD passes deep by throwing insanely late and under-throwing by a country mile forcing the receiver to effectively have to stop running...... throwing behind and way high on crossing patterns.....). Becht was doing this @Home against a team that was 5-13 overall and 2-7 on-the-road in b1g play the past 2 years coming into this game!!

Becht's play was putrid bad, beyond description, against a really bad b1g opponent (especially bad on-the-road). But don't worry, Krafty The Clown told us his coaching hire was going to bring "excellence and championships" - both of the b1g and National varieties - that's why he "paid-up" for Campbell and his FAs don't you know?

Friday night will be a blow out. Northwestern is maybe the 4th best team in the conference. Something like 38-10, Northwestern. Game will be over by halftime.

Do you recall how bad Roberson was? Clearly not
Why do people keep pretending Tengwall is all-knowing? Or even competent? He's one of the most overrated "experts" that discuss any sport. If he said Becht was an upgrade over Allar he's even less knowledgeable than I thought. Former player =/= expert.
No one needs to defend his play--he played poorly--simply put. Every QB has had a game like that if they play long enough--it's how they respond.
You all ramble nonsense about locking onto a primary receiver when it's often not true--that wasn't his issue. The same nonsense was said about Allar when he was great at going through his reads
When was this third & 1 play? He rolled out like twice all game and once made a great pass. The deep passes is your best argument.
